I still don't think it's fair. All my points are valid and this suggestion is still something I want Cyp to consider. So don't think about locking it.

You locked your profile after I made my report on you, then locked your inbox soon after. aka 1 month ago. Anyways, it's pretty appalling that I physically had to make a report for you to tell me why you banned me. I shouldn't even have to ask.

What is even the point of having the forums then... that's just illogical for me to go through 2 steps when the structure is there for me to contact them directly...

just because Krissy is a well respected staff member doesn't mean she doesn't have the rights that usual players do, this is a suggestion thread so you shouldn't all go off topic, it's ridiculous how y'all get triggered by someone locking their profile. I mean can we save this drama for a mod that deserves it? Blaq? Krissy is a pretty chilled out person and such she has reasons to keep her profile locked she shouldn't have to justify why she locks it or when yet alone how long she does it for. Why don't we just save the drama and roast blaq or something. We're the KKK, we like Krissy's just not Blaq's.

I personally never lock my inbox because I usually lock my profile from time to time.
But I don't disagree with Mods locking their inbox. I'm probably going to stay neutral on this, lol.

Just because dew is biased doesnt mean you can constantly use it as a scapegoat. Its a real issue that's being addressed. I really dont care about Krissy, but I care about addressing the issue. Not everybody is biased.

I definitely support inboxes being open, dont really care too much about profiles.

In a previous thread regarding profiles being closed, the counterclaim was 'It doesn't, matter if my profile is closed, you can always PM me.' Fastforward a couple months later and now that's also taken away.

Staff need to understand something. You are not normal players, it's pretty simple to understand. You volunteered to have your job, you volunteered to help players, if you cant do your job then resign. You arent being forced to moderate. Moderators shouldnt be equal to players, you're held at a higher standard. The same reason you cant /ignore players ingame, close your /msgs, or /vanish is the same reason you can't do it on forums. Lets have some consistency in permissions please?

Another argument is that you dont want to be harassed. This is such a stupid argument. If you cant handle some kid cursing you out on a minecraft server, youre unfit to be staff, and if the issue is being doxed then just resign and you'll avoid all of it. Considering harassment is illegal and youre a moderator... BAN THEM! It's so simple. You have the power, use it!


We shouldnt be taking statements from cyp's skype. He should come to the forums and make an official statement addressing it. If not, then the 1 week timeline should be enforced by supermods. 1 week limit for profile locking and pm locking, or else you get reported into that thread in the mod section that Im pretty sure you still have.


Also, unrelated but Krissy I love how you tell cyp its only 1 week and reassure him that its only for a week, but you tell the players its temporary and brush it off while having your pms locked for over a month. I wouldve loved to see what cyp would have said if you had such a firm stance with him as you did with us within the multiple threads made. Again, this doesnt have anything to do with my opinion regarding the OP, just wanted to point that out. Not BIASED!1!1!1!1!1!!1!!! Hes just attacking Krissy!1!1!!1!!!1!!!!
