in my opinion, everyone here should be treated equally and respectfully. Mods tend to get bigger doses of disrespect than players rob because we are the ones who dish out the punishments and a lot of people feel they don't deserve them where as the mods feel they do. Players do get disrespected by usually it's just over an argument the players had as friends or as individuals. Players are able to block and ignore anyone where as even if we are being harassed we are required to help the player if the player requests it so we can get continuously harassed. It's not really treating us anymore special, we are trying to keep the server clean, fun, and PG but we can't do that if we feel harassed and unwelcomed ourselves. I agree that the rule should be player disrespect because the mods are still players. We just have more of a weight on our shoulders to be role models and act a certain way but even we make mistakes at times. Just treat us as you would a new friend. None of the mods actually act like we do when we are giving punishments in person so please don't act like we are the most repulsive and vile people in the world. Just respect everyone like you'd respect family or friends
Honestly, I have to agree with you there. People are either overly friendly to get on my good side or overly rude because of past experiences with mods.
As Krissy said, mods cannot just ignore a Player when he's harrassing them. Like hitting a Police officer is handled differently than when hitting "normal" people, it is natural that the punishments varies also here whether the victim is a representative of the authority or not.
It's kinda interesting how many players will call you a "b*tch" when they ask you to abuse your powers for them and you refuse Or especially high donors who spam/caps in chat gets pretty annoyed when they get kicked for it like everyone else. See I treat every single one the same. Hence I get backlash from those who want special treatment. I tend to dish small punishments on these because they usually realize that other staff would have banned their bums. And as a result they never do it again~
You keep bringing this up everywhere. Here; people are not allowed to call Obama a "black a** monkey", and you should already get this through your head.
It's not socially acceptable to call him that because it's racist and that's also not acceptable here, thanks.
1. I have the right to freedom of speech (being able to express any opinions without censorship or restraint). This rule doesn't comply. 2. Respect is a feeling of deep admiration for someone, elicited by their abilities, qualities, or achievements. At this current point in time, I do not respect any staff. I don't like this rule.
