I just thought this thread might be a fun idea just to share random stories about whatever you want. Once I was on a road trip to Illinois, USA with my grandparents. I was passing through Oklahoma and all of the sudden it started hailing really bad. Then all of the radio stations started warning that there was a tornado, and the radio was literally saying "It is VERY dangerous. If you can, pull over in a ditch right now and hide". Luckily, my grandparents had a friend who lived there and they were on the phone with their friend, and their friend said to just keep driving and ignore the warnings. So that is what my grandparents did. The tornado would have hit us if we had been literally just a bit behind where we actually were. That was probably one of the scariest moments of my life, because had we not been just far enough ahead of it, I might be dead right now.
I was in a track and field meet and running hurdles. The person in the lane next to went over the hurdle, but accidentally went into my lane. This caused me to trip and I couldn't go over the hurdle properly. My back leg clipped it and I fell on my collar bone. I felt like I was going to pass out, but stood up and went to the locker room to get my bag. People asked me if I was okay and I said I was fine. After grabbing my bag, I walked home in pain, and called my parents. They came in a couple of hours, and we drove to the hospital. It was a struggle just to get up because of the pain in my collar bone. To take x-rays, I had to stand up straight against the wall. This was extremely painful, and I was barely able to do it. The x-rays showed that the my collarbone was dislodged by 14mm, and that multiple fragments had chipped of the end. My tendons and ligaments were also injured. The doctor told us that I may need surgery, but in 2 months it had healed.
Oh wow. I feel really bad for you. I'm glad it healed though without any really major issues. I know that sometimes broken bones can really get really messed up if they don't heal properly.
I've had some pretty scary s*** happen to me and seen some pretty scare s*** happen to others. Like litterally the time today I was driving home on this back road that's really deserted. It's a gravel road so when I see a little crappy BMW car, I wonder gets ye heck. I pulled in and asked if they were lost. He got triggered fast and asked if I was a cop. I told him no and I am just part of rural crime watch. He got pissed at me for minding his own business and I basically told him if he doesn't give me a reason why he was back here besides his excuse that it's a free country, I'll be reporting him. Litterally then I see his hand reach down and pull out what appeared to be a hand gun and I just put litterally the petal to the metal and got the hell out of there. This happened like 9 hours ago and I haven't seen him since. That creeped the s*** outta me.
That's insane. I cant imagine how scary it must be to know that someone might be puling a gun out on you. Glad you're ok. Did you report him?
this was when i was 3. i was climbing a tree and fell off. while i was falling a stick the shape of a hook lodged into my lip. i didn't cry or anything. i didn't give a crap. anyway, my uncle came out the backyard and saw me standing up trying to take the stick out. he pulled it out, i cried a little bit then a stopped. an ambulance was to expensive so my mum called a taxi. i had to get plastic surgery and that's how i got my still swollen lip 8 years later.
Let's see My friends and I were in Atlanta, and oh Lordy, the protests were right outside our hotel. So if anybody lives in the city part of Atlanta you'd know that the cops and swat teams were literally everywhere, blue and red lights anywhere you looked. Helicopters all around, it was lit imo (maybe ill get the pictures I took tomorrow and edit this) So my friends and I just go up on the roof of the hotel (like 21 stories) and just chill up there listening to music and drinking monster (not me, I was having the best drink ever, a ice cold Sprite) One point we went down into the protests and began playing "f*** the police" on this dudes beats pill It was kinda fun That was the night I conquered my fear of heights I have many more Atlanta stories, just let me sleep
10/29/16 This is a true story that happened just tonight. My friend was hosting a Halloween themed party at her house. She just moved to another school this year so I was glad to see her again. A bunch of my friends came and it was nice to see them during the weekend. I have this weird friend, who I shall refer to as Jesse. He likes to carry weapons that his dad used to own while he was in the military. Thank god those weapons don't have to do anything with the story So my friends and I were having a nice time. We were roasting marshmallows, watching movies and just having an overall good time. Then Jesse started violently coughing and he fell to the ground. He went into a fetal position and started rocking back and forth. Everybody else came to help him out while I was just walking around with my hands on my head thinking "what the f*** is happening?" I bent down closer to him and I could hear him silently chant "get out." I had also noticed tears rolling down his face very slowly. One of the other friends went over to him as he was violently coughing and noticed that he had was very hot around the head. This whole scenario lasted for a good ten minutes until he finally recovered and had the strength to sit up. One of the other friends gave him some water for his fever. After he drank the cup, he quietly says "I make a pretty good damn actor." We finally got to the conclusion that he was pranking us, and god damn was it a good prank. I started cursing at him to not do that ever again as he sat there manically laughing. He admitted that he could easily make himself cry. The violent coughing and fever was real though. He stated that the fever was actually his normal body temperature and that he had had a cough for a long time and that he will see a doctor soon. Jesse is a good friend of mine, but sometimes I wonder if he was summoned by Satan himself to tick the world off.
I knocked out 6 clowns this month.. They all went into a full on brawl, when they found each other lying in an old house with no shirts.. So.. I knocked out 6 clowns.. And dragged them into an old abandoned house.. And as I said.. They ended up fighting.
