so this morning i went on minechat cause my brother wanted me to unlock my island to sort out and finish it but i got a red message saying "Kicked While connecting to survivel: too many players with your IP address online'' so I tried going on my brother computer to add another tab to go on my mc acc and it worked but not with my tablet on mine chat or my family's pc and I cant access to the server and I don't want to be on that kick screen forever and I got told it's to do with the Halloween dp but i wasn't sure but why can my brother get access to the server but not me can someone help me with this cause I waited hours to be able to get on

Try and re-put your e-mail and password in the settings?

 

It's to prevent too many accounts logging on from the same ip. (Prevents alt accounts from flooding the server during the dp). I'm not sure about the actual limit per ip address so I'll see if any other staff has an input

 

If you dont want to get kicked on minechat while your brother is on the computer turn off wifi on your phone and it will work.

 

If you turn off the wifi, then you cannot use minechat..

 

Trick, just wait until after the Halloween dp and you'll be able to. If you and your brother want to attend together then maybe ask your parents if they have data on their phone. Turn off the WiFi for the phone and use mobile data to log onto mine chat for the duration of the drop party, or attend from two different locations.

(I'll try to msg cyp and suggest that 2 accounts can be allowed from one ip)

Minechat drains mobile data, beware.

 

As of now, only one IP will be allowed. If you'd like to attend the drop party with your brother, Moon has said what to do. Since we cannot fix this (until the drop party is over), I will close this now
