Hello! Welcome to my server moderator application
I am Matthew others call me Matt
you might have seen/remembered me through out the server for a while. But if you do not know me, welcome! Thank you for coming to my application as well as reading it!


BEFORE WE GET STARTED HERE ARE SOME THINGS ABOUT ME AND SKYBLOCK.
To let everyone know for some new people, I am rootbeer2222 I am one of few players on skyblock that has been actively and quietly roaming the server for almost 4 years (since 2012 Nov 27) I have been extremely active on the forums too. I never quit skyblock and always tried my best to squeeze some time to go on the server or site everyday. I was very quiet and unheard of for about a little more than a year but I was still going on the server and helping people since I joined. On the the forums I always checked new player profiles to see if they needed help with something or anything I could do as an average player. Now, let's get started with my application shall we!

Do you have 2FA enabled?
Yes in fact I have gotten very used to it for a while now. (Currently getting this fixed)




Do you have he necessary means of capturing evidence?
Yes I use bandicam maxed and adjusted to 1080P 60fps that I always have available to use with a hot key


Have you ever been banned? (If so, why?)
As far as being banned I only got temp-banned as a joke for 1 second and a mod abused his powers and banned a few people (including me) but as far as being banned I don't think I have ever been banned for anything (from what I can remember mods please correct me if I am wrong).


Why do you think you should be a mod?
I will not say I deserve any kind of moderation power, but I will say this. I worked hard the past few weeks to improve on helping others and working on the trust of other players and staff. Aside from that, I am not going to say that I "want" mod or that I "need" mod, I am saying that I am willing to become staff to support this server, not just support, but help this servers people and functionality and how new players see this server. There is an incredible amount of responsibility, patients, effort, and complexity in becoming a mod, and I wish to be able to do so and change the way I veiw skyblock through staff point of veiw. There is no reason that I should get staff, I will admit I had a few slip ups here and there, but I changed in a very good way and I wish to be a staff member and help everyone and when I say everyone I really mean everyone.


How long can you stay active every day?
I can stay active in these times (although they might vary)
Weekdays Morning 5:45 am to 6:45 am then back from school 3:00 pm to 10:00 pm.

Weekend's: 8:00 am to 1:00 am

It all depends on school and work but that is the most accurate time I have.


How long have you been playing skyblock?
I have been playing skyblock for 4 years.


Do you have any past experience as a moderator?
Yes I have a lot of past experience as a mod I was a admin on a popular server (that is no longer online) and I was mod on 5 other servers as well. I also know an awful lot of what commands and strategies mods.have and can use.


~Traits~


Kind
I am mostly known on the server and forums that I am very kind and friendly, I have never got into any fights with any of the staff on here and got along with pretty much all the players. And I am always open to make new friends!


Patient
I can be VERY patient all the time with anything. I can wait a long time for something to happen. I can wait for someone who struggles with typing for as long as they need to. I can wait for someone to get back on when their internet crashes (it happens to us all at some time).


Mature
I always take jobs and situations seriously and only joke when it appropriate to joke. I always try to set a great example for new players and players in general no matter the cause of my day of how good/bad it was.


Hard Worker
I always try to out do my self and challenge my abilities to the best so that I can improve my mistakes and knowledge. The key to great moderation is to try your best in any situation at any time under any kind of pressure and I assure you I can handle a lot of pressure no matter when and where.


Great with dealing with complicated ban appeals
This kinda goes back to the patient trait but I can handle ban appeals when someone does not understand the requirements to a ban appeal, and guide them through the correct requirements for a ban appeal.

Fun
I can make modding fun for my self but it is also very serious because as a staff, your picked because you seem trustworthy and flexible enough to be in such a position.

Do you meet the requirements for staff?
Yes I do.


Final words
I just want to say that I put a lot pf honest heart in this because like I said I do not DESERVE mod or "need/want" mod I just am willing to work really hard to become staff and if I actually do become staff I might cry for a few hours but I will work above average for this server I love this server to death.

neutral, i seen you alot in chat which means youre active on the times im on (not alot of mods are) but i havent really noticed anything *modlike* about you, this will definately change as i get to know you more.

im not sure, just kind of a first impression. some people are meant to be mod, some people are meant to be players. im sure thatll change soon.

 

I see you on very often and this application is very well written, support!

 

Neutral for now

-Fairly active.
-I don't see you help out.
-Add more to the "Why do you think you should be mod" section.
-You need to add more detail (Adding lots of spaces between paragraphs wont make your app. longer)

Thank you! I did help a lot of people but they are mostly just normal players. They don't announce it is all.
also do you mean tabs/enter bars? I only put so many because I thought it looked of somewhat neat and efficient. But thank you so much! I shall edit it right now and improve apon my mistakes.
