It does not matter what the back story is. This is a point of discussion. In theory people who donated are NOT superior to those who haven't even though they may have more permissions with their ranks. When I joined the server the skygod rank was special. I thought skygods were cool but I would be ignored. I learned a few things as I got more experienced in the server. What does being a donor rank mean and why is it placed in high regard? Well long story short. A rank is supposed to be a symbol of appreciation for helping in the running costs of the server or for those who see donations as more of a "pay for perks" deal, it means you have more commands thus more "power". What is wrong with this thinking is people that have ranks now feel more confident and more invincible. Thus we have high ranked donors going around and causing trouble. In fact I have had less issues with greenies than I have skygods. I know a player that ignores all skygods and donors because they are "just really obnoxious "explict language ommitted" and arrogant". That tells you something about what a rank does and how ranked individuals tend to act. Of course not all donors are going to be like this and there are some who use their rank to help others. And not all donors think they are better than greenies however there is a lot of non donors who a) spam b) pester for items and enchants c) are very young and cannot afford a rank and more of them. They believe they create the annoyance. Now lets actually look further into this. Do donors really have the right to look down on no rank or lower ranked players? No. Of course not. How many donors have actually paid for their own ranks? Not a lot of people can say "hey, I bought myself skygod". Most players have not spent a single cent on the server yet have the balls to go around acting like they have contributed something great. The thing is there are also other factors other than just having a rank that people use to acknowledge superiority. Think about players who have been around since 2012 and early 2013. How much respect they earn for being old players. People who are experienced often think they are better than newer players. And we all know there is a thought in peoples heads that greenie = noob. Plus most donors are, or become, experienced players. People just need to start treating each other with respect and not be rude to others regardless of if they are rude to you. Treat people like how you wish to be treated essentially... unless you want to be disrespected, which in that case treat people the opposite of how you wish to be treated.

this happened so much to me as a greenie and it still does as a donor10. when i get on koras account people actually pay attention to my messages and consider them.
donor 10s are not as cool as others because they haven't wasted enough money. you should add 390$ to that donation
donor 250 is for people that want normal people to notice them. donor 400 is for people that want cyp to look at them for a few seconds.
I would say that is true. BUT it's not. Donating 400 dollars to a block game is a perfect idea. It's barely even donating. You're pretty much buying over 500 10 year old online friends.
well when you make a server where paying makes you superior (legitimately, you have bonus things the norm don't. stating this before someone gets salty that I said donors are higher than greens) this conversation simply matches that idea, no?
Ok I talked to that guy who said that and he claims that his friend wrote that. So I told him to tell "his friend" to not disrespect greenies again. He was not easy approachable and denied the fact and tried to change the topic but yeah. Looked like a 10 yr old who eats parents credit cards.
