so people have been saying the SERVER is having a downfall. but its not the server. its MINECRAFT; i know a server that used to get like 20 thousand people a day but now it goes down to like 6 thousand a day. as much as i hate to say it. i think minecraft is dying.
Delete that server name! You can get banned for advertising! I'd hurry if I were you... Though I do agree with you.
If anything, this game is progressing in popularity day by day, it's growing incredibly, that's probably why Microsoft paid like 2billion for the game. I think its already the 2nd best selling video game of all time, behind Tetris, and don't forget the fact that Tetris is old, and has been released on about anything as powerful as a toaster. I don't think Minecraft at all is dying, it's just the concept of Skyblock is getting old, and everyone has just moved on with minigame servers. This is just my opinion though.

I always play on 1.8. Due to the fact that with the newer updates, people can push you off. That eliminates the fun skyblock brings.
It is annoying as hell. Fun Fact: This feature was actually in the game, but they removed it. Looks like its back again.
Minecraft is not necessarily dying, its just some servers that are dying because they are old and don't have many updates or they are just having really bad updates.
The updates ruined Minecraft for my whole town. Barely anyone plays it because of what Microsoft did. I personally stay in 1.8.
kids are growing out of minecraft like they grow out of there old pair of shoes its a part of life and they also probably moved on to other pc games or xbox one and ps4.

I only use 1.8 when I play on skyblock because I like the now combat update. It gives me some advantage over all the nub spammers that rage at me for "insano reach resist hax"
