I can't remember what it was like being a greenie but I can understand where you are coming from. I do agree default players are ignored more than donors mainly for the fact they don't have a prefix and aren't up in everyone's faces. I try whenever I'm online to not ignore people but sometimes it's not simple because green does not stand out that much in that chat
I have seen plenty donors offering to sell godded items in Chat and having ugly heaps of cobble as Island. And plenty non-donors with flabbergasting Islands and rares. non-donor =/= noob, know the difference. Those who deem it to be the same are the bigger noobs of all.
I used to be a greenie, and when I was a greenie, ppl treated me like dirt, so now its my turn . Also I'm not doing this because others did it to me, I'm doing this to greenies out of pure enjoyment
That is the life of a default. On big servers that is. I see that on .net it is very greenie unfriendly sometimes. That is because of the constant spam of chat about "skin comp. prize is 1 diamond. entry 5 grass." or things like that. If you hop on over to .org though... You don't see that. We have so many people helping and being respectful that we show the new people how to act and how to follow the rules. Once they are told, most of them relax and it is actually pretty awesome to talk to them. Some are always excited when they tell you they are saving up for a rank. Greenies are just like you were before the rank. Treating them like you were treated just continues the cycle.
I remember when I was a greenie, some people knew me just because I sold mobspawners for 64 grass in my trade shop or 4 diamonds, nobody told me what they were worth at that time.:depressed
I personally feel i am nice to all players until they begin to ask for free things or ask me to rank them. Otherwise i have been extremely helpful to everyone, including those that are new. In the case of this being a serious thread, lolnope nothing works that way. You can't just ask for people to stop hating, its not going to anything but worsen it if anything. If in a joking manner, you're gucci. I actually like greens better since I can't be one anymore. I'll probably respect them more than high donors.
Most spammers are greenies, because they won't buy a donor to spam on a server. This causes people to ride a bandwagon saying, " all greenies are rule breakers " Although I am friends with AND know some pretty chill greenies,
Everyone is saying that they are treating greenies fairly, but really in the background they are not. People don't realise that they can be really rude ignoring everything that greenies say and do. As a Donor I can say If I think about it I treat greenies unfairly. When one says they are hosting a drop party I don't bother to go. But really I have seen some awesome Greenie islands. Better than some of ours. I think that we should be leaders for the little guys too. There are a lot of little kids that are in the shadows that are disrespected and treated like 2-year-olds. Greenies are a group of people some of them break rules. Some of them don't just like some donors break rules some don't. We are all people and deserve to be treated kindly, fairly, and equally. I bet every donor here has at least mistakenly judged a greenie. I want all Donors to personally set a goal to be better.
No. Utopian like qualities you're asking for, and we all know those don't ever work. Just deal with the fact that there will never be complete respect for anyone.

This is the kind of thing I think greenies are talking about is people like you lucky. Its kind of ridiculous that you guys just can't be acknowledge the people that have really loud voices, but simply can't get any attention because they can't talk in color. Everyone is doing #GREENIES and stuff. Not that that is bad, but come on you can't think anything you have done wrong. We arn't angels. All I'm saying is we simply should try better. Yea, I really can't. I have no problem with them already and stated so before, I'm not going to try and go any further because I don't feel like it nor is it required of me. Now being nice isn't the thing I was hinting at being a utopian quality, rather the thought of everyone being nice, aka the perfect, ideal community. Be realistic, it is the internet after all. Couldn't really find where me having done wrong things came into this, unsure of what this section was really about.
