The missing file is located in the system32 folder, did you delete system32 or type del C:\Windows\system32 in the command prompt?

 

I haven"t deleting anything recently and don't remember going into that folder. What do you mean also? Xp

 

Simplified: You're missing an important file, which is necessary for booting Windows.

Yes, this happened when I was trying to switch back to Windows 8.

No, Windows 10 came with my PC and a year ago I bought windows 8 product key and I still have the product key, So I don't have an installation disk, just a Windows 8 product key.

protip: don't delete system32 or use windows 8/8.1/10

Ik, Windows 7 is still the best. I had to get Windows 10 since it was a free download.
