    No Support, this even makes more spam and wont help the solution. Reporting or mods kicking players is just fine, we don't need an anti-spam bot

    So, what I'm seeing here is we would spam because of spam, wouldn't that be like throwing gas on a small fire, all this would do is help the spam-bots out by making more spam, and not all spam is hate, there are people who spam just to spam, or to ask for donations, or advertise

    There are filters out there that can change messages to different phrases when the keywords are typed. I don't think we need to have an anti-spambot which spams when others spam, just one that better filters out advertising, repeat and similar messages, and server hate.

    I don't think chat should be spammed simply because someone unleashes bots and they spam. The goal would be to stop them.
    I think there are flaws with chat filtering plugins and the bypass is way too easy anyway.

    Why would we create spam to stop spam bots?
    Keep in mind that the reason that spam bots are bad is because they... Spam. (Bet you didn't see that one coming.) This suggestion isn't a solution; rather, it would only further the problem. It's like having an annoying fly in your house; instead of killing the fly, you want to add 5 more to make the original one less noticeable...
