I've heard that if you get banned, it's legal to make an alt to appeal, but nothing else. Is that true? And if that's true, I'm assuming you can't have an alt just because, if you're not banned.
Yes, correct you may make an alt on forums to appeal for your forums ban tho do not post outside of the appeal.
If the alt account's owner is unbanned, the alt account will be permanently banned and you'll have to make a new one if your account is banned again.
Yep, make sure you name it [name] appeal alt so if a mod sees your same ip they dont ban it. And as tribal said if you view or post outside of your appeal that alt will be banned as well.
