Hello my name is Damon (IGN DamonCW). I was temp-banned for a duration of 24 hours a few minutes ago for unknown reasons. I did nothing wrong, and I did not interact with anyone, I just happily worked on my island expecting no random ban. Also I'm unhappy that when I was banned the reason was "The Ban Hammer has spoken!", how helpful.

I am just wondering if there is some unusual rule that I was unable to follow, and I would be more than happy for a solution to this issue.

 

This is a server ban, it thought you were hacking and banned you. This does not count as a ban and this does not involve any mods. This usually happens a lot, but all you need to do is wait it out.

 

Just wait it out and if you are lagging try bot to move around too quickly.

I am using optifine... not sure if that would make anything happen. Besides that there are no clients. And yes, TeamTyler, this happened again.

 

I will get a mod to unban you, but just watch what ur doing.

 

Well DamonCacti it seems we have a bit of an issue.
So, the Console is terribly configured, and we all know it. However, you shouldn't be getting banned as, let's go with
rapidly. If you're using a client other than Forge or Vanilla Minecraft, then the reality is you are more likely to get a
ban from the Console. If you have any other Mods installed other than Optifine, try uninstalling them, because I too
use Optifine and haven't experienced such issues before.

This Has Happened To me, it will probs happen again so what you do is either wait it out or appeal

 

Mr. Are you using any other clients other than vanilla minecraft or forge? I have a feeling this might be the problem. The console will automatically ban you. Maybe try not using any hacks? Tag me in your post if your problem won't be resolved.

It happens once in a while that the banhammer bans wrong. If this happens anymore just pm a mod on the forum and they will unban you.

 

This happens due to lag. There isn't really a way to prevent it unless you have access to /fly. If you get console banned again, make sure to make an appeal and a moderator will unban you asap. Since we have provided you will all the information possible, I will close this now.
