Server name (.net / .org ): NET In-game name: ForgotPassword Full exact Ban Message: You are banned from this server! Reason: scamming, appeal on skyblock.net -Blyx Did you read the rules ? Twice Why do YOU think you were banned? Apperantly there was 2 mods at my brothers island, which Im visiting time to time to check the shop, I asked whats wrong and got a reply "There has been a scam, retrieve the items". I was very confused about this, as I had been building on Johnnys island for the last half an hour, and asked again what was wrong. A few seconds later I got kicked from the server, with the message "You are banned from this server! Reason: scamming, appeal on skyblock.net -Blyx" Was this an incorrect ban? Yes. Were you ever banned before on SkyBlock? If so, what for? A couple of times, mostly ban hammers, but a few from a long time ago where I didnt take the server seriously. Why do you think you should be unbanned? As mentioned above, I still am confused what this all is about. I have no idea of why I was banned for the "scam", as I havent even done anything illegal, and tried to follow the rules for the last couple of months. If there is any proof of the ban I would like to see it, otherwise I dont know what happened. Blyx Wilbos_World
Thank you for the appeal. Once the situation has been thoroughly dealt with, I will consider your appeal.
I want to see all of the proof against me, give me a valid reason why perm banning me if you dont want to get in the staff report section. Also stop ignoring people and start dealing with your own problems I would like to request a moderator to solve this that actually takes responsiblity and clears out their own tasks, as Blyx doesnt seem to take this serious and ignores me on the forums Krissy Blyx I have seen you watching this several times without replying. I want the proof that gave you the right to perm ban me otherwise I will make a staff report on you, and trust me, I have evidence of you breaking several staff rules CypriotMerks Blyx
You were banned on precaution of being an alternate account of SkyblockShop, who was a part of the scamming. When we checked your IP, it matched to the same IP as SkyblockShop. Here is that proof:
As I said here, which shows that you clearly didnt pay attention to my appeal, I am visiting my brothers island time to time, which obviously will show the same ip, as we use to play together. How is this a reason to ban. Are mods even allowed to ip ban?
You obviously didn't take note of what I said. If you're both using the same router, then yes, the IP will be the same. As I said: Whether or not you are, or aren't the same person, your IP is identical. Until SkyblockShop appeals, and their appeal is accepted, you will remain banned. Wouldn't have been done if it wasn't allowed.
Imgur: The most awesome images on the Internet, when I asked a moderator wheter ip banning is allowed or not, Also, I cannot understand why I will get banned for something like this, without having any connection to the crime made. You cant just say "you live in the same house as a criminal, and therefor I am going to get you in jail". That would be madness. Could you tell me how you think banning someone because someone else in their ip did something wrong, tell me how that would make sense. If my brother makes something wrong do I have to deal with the perm ban I get?
We often see the "my sibling did it" excuse so banning as a precaution is not unreasonable, especially if you have access to his island where stolen items may be stored. A lot of times players will use one account to scam, and transfer it to another account to avoid getting in trouble for it. Not to say that is what you did, but it is common enough that we do ban associated accounts for this reason. It doesn't always happen but because this was such a high profile scam with lots of valuables involved, the precaution was taken. I don't know the full story or whether the stolen items have been found/returned yet so blyx can fill us in on that. I would recommend your brother appeal and resolve the scamming ban.
I have talked to my brother about this, and I will just inform you that my brother has seen my rares, and one of his biggest wishes is to catch up with the big fishes in the community, but I told him that breaking the rules is not the best way of making amounts of money. Yet my brother is only 11 years old, and doesnt take all this very "seriously". He started playing on the server as he seemed intrested of it. I will help him make an appeal but ensure that he will write the most of it with his own words, and write it honestly.
We don't know people's lives. We don't know if they have siblings. That would make us stalkers. We don't want to be those. Blyx did nothing wrong in taking a precaution to prevent this. The reason we have this command in place is to prevent things like this. There's a difference between "ban evading" and "IP banning." Also, are you appealing or reporting Blyx?
This is a ban appeal for ForgotPassword, as I am unfairly banned. As Blyx doesnt seem to take this seriously I was thinking about staff reporting him (also for a few other mistakes she made but not very relevant right now), What I would like to know, is what do you want of me to get me unbanned?
That's not your decision to decide if another mod can take it over. If you're reporting her, then don't accuse her of things in this appeal if you were to do so. She is taking this seriously, but you need to wait and be patient for her to respond, as she also has a life outside of minecraft.
I am showing patience, but the thing that makes me mad is that I clearly see how Blyx has read what I said, but yet tries to ignore me. When I messaged her in game she quit, went afk etc. I am really mad because the fact that if Blyx realizes she was wrong, but tries to cover it up like an unresposible moderator. Admit your mistakes, at least listen what I have to say. Personally I respect that Blyx chooses to do other things outside skyblock, and I dont have any problems with it, but its for situations like this that really pisses me off. Upon re-reading your argument, I have unbanned you. As we have covered multiple times in this appeal, you were banned for precaution. As 5 blocks of diamonds have now been recovered, there is no reason/ need to keep you banned. My apologies for the inconvenience.
