Doesn't feel like it, to be honest. After over a year on the forums I've only seen one or two successful mod reports.

 

Well,me being at fault of an accepted report. Even though there was more to my demotion then just the report as well, the answer is yes. If all reports you guys did were good enough reasons then they would of been demoted, I guess.

A staff report got you demoted, I thought that was Lycel who got demoted?

 

Lycel got demoted alongside Dew. ((and the report I've seen was Dew's, yeah.))

 

Demoted for two different things, if anything I triggered her demotion by bringing something up, causing her to say some regretful things.

 

I still don't know why Lycel was demoted, but I'm pretty sure your demotion was for griefing at the time, no?

Trolling on a "friend's" island. He had recorded me, then kept saying "I can't get you demoted" like a blackmail type of saying. I eventually just told him to post it, so he did.

Along side with leaking screenshots of messages between Cyp and I, discussing a players ban. Into a side mod chat. :/

 

I had my first forum ban while you and Lycel got demoted. :L
I thought you got demoted on separate days, but was it like a mass demotion or something? XD

I agree, this is a serious question.

 

What happened to only Cyp dealing with Staff reports.

Only people higher rank then the staff in question (or usually smods) are the ones to deal with staff reports.

Staff reports used to be weighed heavily until players started getting salty and reporting staff for basically whatever ticked them off ._. (Since when is it wrong for staff to kick if you broke a rule)

And its been a common trend that people seem to think filing a staff report on a ban will lift the ban so they don't bother appealing. No ban is considered abuse, unless your appeal is denied without reason.

 

Well, if there is sufficient proof of the person abusing their powers or breaking the rules, then justice should be server. However mods tend to be legitimate & responsible people (usually). They didn't get promoted for nothing.
