Caps isn't the biggest rule on the server. Chat is supposed to be fun not moderated line after line after line ruining all the fun

And when we don't follow the "guidelines," we get called "power abusive." Which one do you want

A set of rules. Consistency between mods. Staff that can relax and have fun too.

    The old team.

Look, the old team isn't coming back unless every single "old team moderator" re-applies and gets accepted. We can't enforce rules, according to the community, that doesn't follow the rules of Skyblock even if it does, in fact, benefit the server. A set of rules is only put into place by the administrative team, and it seems you're directing all of the things moderators do badly and forgetting the things we do as a team as it currently stands.

If you want consistency, we wait for the administrators. If you want a set of rules, we wait for the administrators. If you want staff that can relax and have fun too, then the players need to stop breaking the rules in the first place; which, by the way, won't happen. The old team isn't the only thing that has changed; the old community has changed. More younger children are coming onto our server to play; with that in mind, you can't go ahead and openly curse even if it does mean you sacrifice a few rights.

A set of rules means that you have to follow them, too. You make it seem like all the moderators are at fault; in reality, it's not only the moderators—it's also the communities'. Doubt it all you want, but it ain't gonna change a thing. If we did everything wrong, we would be demoted by now—which I'm sure you all would want because we apparently abuse all of our powers left and right, do most things wrong according to you and most of the rest of the community, and don't follow the guidelines from noobkilla. Those outlines are outdated, fyi.

If you want to have a set of guidelines, then you're preaching to the wrong crowd, honey. We can have consistency as soon as the higher-up-than-supermods people make the guidelines we should follow. If we made it, it wouldn't be as good—that is, according to the communities' standards.

All punishments if possible. I would like the rules to be rewritten more clearly.

Like IRL, games have rules that are interpreted differently by each one, doesn't matter how precisely they might be written down. From simple card game rules like UNO up to the constitution (for instance 2nd amendmend), noone sees it the same way.

The rules on this server are already quite long. That's maybe one of the reasons why very few new players read them. I've read them like one month after I started. You basically ask to make them even more precise. I can tell you, this will be a big mess, and even if they are more detailed, they will still be subject to interpretation.

Mods enforce the rules, and like any judge, are free to interpete them. Even IRL two judges will rarely give the same judgement. If you feel they have been misinterpreted, you still can appeal. As IRL. If it's rejected, you can only conclude that the rules have been followed and start living by these rules. It's pointless to discuss wether they have been interpreted correctly. If you break the rules again, you will get harsher punishment, ingame as IRL.

Prepare for real life by accepting how it is in game.

8-13 year old are yet to be educated.
Showing them that cursing is not allowed everywhere helps towards their education.
That is the purpose of G-Rated Content. It's a promise to the parents that the Content won't spoil their efforts in educating their childrens. If some parents don't care, that's up to them. Other parents care.
You may teach your childrens (if you have of course) cursing at home if you want. Not here.

please, skybl0ck is not going to teach a kid how to curse. when i got on here, i was a 10 yr old, well, a stupid a** 10 yr old, but anyway, i knew how to curse. hell, i already had a large vocabulary of swear words i got from my friends. they weren't skyblockers. they got it from their friends, who probably heard it somewhere, maybe their parents, or siblings.

if parents care, and have an issue with them cursing, they can tell the kid not to curse. just because a kid plays skyblock isn't going to go make them curse.

Lool I wasn't saying Skyblock is teaching them. I was saying there is no Need for Skyblock to add onto that, even less if it Claims to be G-Rated. You learn how to curse basically when you learn to speak. Then you get educated. Or not.

Well summed up, I personally want set rules detailed properly that /every/ mod has to enforce, not 'each to their own' bs, that misleads players then we have no idea what to do. The mods need to get off their highhorse and have some fun and relax with other players, instead of off in your staffchat, is also misleads players. Imo the mod list needs to be re-evaluated too, and how staff reports are handled, as it clearly isn't working.

Although to have this, cooperative players would be nice, instead of having mods be 'salty' or biased' because they punished you fairly, it's really ridiculous. Basically, if you want something, players, check yourself first.
