So, you're saying the other person in your coop now owns the island?

Well, the reason is, is because you did /coop leave, correct? So then when you leave/join a new coop, you loose all your items in your inventory to prevent island farming. When you leave a coop, and there is another player on it, the ownership will just go to them. The only way to reclaim your island is to get the player to coop you again, and you ask him/her to do /coop leave.

Please correct me if I'm wrong :)

For one thing luv everyone is responsible for their own island. You also need to make sure that your island is locked if you do not want players to come on to it.

You should also not leave a coop and this would not happen. We can not refund illegal items since they are starter items. The reason you can not open your chests luv is that it is not your island anymore. If you truly want to get on that island and stay and refrain from having to start over I suggest to ask the player if you can join back into the coop and go from there.
