If I were you, I would add more detail when answering the question "Why do you think you should be a mod?", as there is some lack of information in my opinion.
    Just a thought though... :)

No support, sorry. Reason above ^^

There are six Minecraft Commandments. Can you name them?

For the third night running the heir to my kingdom has become some sort of feverish, vomit-spewing hellspawn. I'll be writing this in between checking on her.

Let's live faster than Paul Walker and die more popular than River Pheonix. Suggested background music: Transistor Soundtrack.

    ,.-~*´¨¯¨`*·~-.¸Thank you!,.-~*´¨¯¨`*·~-.¸

Technically this is second, Mr. Happy. You already welcomed us above here. Moving on.

This is a new record for application reviews. I just did a spit-take on literally the fifth line. Did you just say you were born in Australia and then bred there?? Did I just wander into an Aussie-themed romance fanfic..?

You have an introduction inside your introduction? Intro-ception. •BWAAAAAHHHHHHH•

Other than rewording this slightly, nothing wrong. It is actually very good to just link to include a dedicated "personal information" sheet when writing an application for a job. Keeps your job qualifications front and center, but gives everyone some back story if they want it.

Nice to meet you, Mr. Happy. Let's hope this ends well.

•scrolls up, checks forum• Not on the .Net template, Mr. Happy. Your age is not really relevant, staff positions don't have an age requirement I'm aware of. But thank you for the information.

+1 for correct timezone use. The rest of the world doesn't know what "EADT" or the other Australian-specific timezones are, listing the UTC offset is tremendously helpful.

I want to hear French spoken with an Australian accent. #SignMeUp

+1 for knowing multiple languages. I admire that, sir.

#JesusWept. I swear by my cuddly Sweeney Todd plushie that this sort of "I Must Be Overly Honest!" thing is a psychological condition. Forget shooting yourself in the foot, you've blown a hole in the floor and killed the downstairs neighbor.

You do not need to go into elaborate explanations and supporting testimonials about your punishment history. The people accepting your application (CypriotMerks, etc) already know. The people who don't know you (me, everyone else) read what you put here and think you must be horrible. Do you see how you're poisoning your readers, Mr. Happy?

Rewrite this as a simple "Yes. Bridging and malicious sites."

I am more excited than the buzzards hanging out behind the animal shelter. Let's hear it.

Not so happy around here, lately.

If your internet is often so bad you cannot play then you may want to consider other ways you could help the server, sir. Forum Moderator, perhaps? Or maybe create a position we didn't know we needed: Community Manager? Public Relations...?

I'll try my best to never point out how inconsistent that statement is. Flip that sentence around and you could rewrite it as "I respect others whenever I try my best!" Try rewriting this into "I respect others. If I do fail then I recognize and make up for it."

I blacked out reading this, then woke up in an empty warehouse covered in blood with "WUT" carved into my chest.

"Honest: I usually do not tell lies" - What the furious facehugging Alien abomination is this? How can you honestly never tell lies... usually?? Is this like being a "little bit pregnant" or "almost murder-free"? Remove this.

•deep breath• This is not a qualification. If you're over ten words per minute you're probably fine. Putting your WPM here won't hurt your application HOWEVER it's a bit like listing your swimming speed in a Sports Radio job position. Technically valuable(?)

#Hugs4All - Alright, good start. Now explain why caring about everyone would make you better at banning, muting, kicking and telling them to shut up. This is a job application, you need to explain why your qualifications help the job.

You suffer from "Usually Syndrome". Putting "usually" in a sentence comes across as weak, insecure and non-assertive. Rather than be confident and say "I am good with people" you get shifty and leave yourself room for failure: "I am usually good with people... unless I'm angry... or it's Tuesday..."

Get rid of the "Usually" and "Normally" when describing qualities that you think will earn you a job. Sidenote: Why are "Caring" and "friendly" two separate qualities? Were you out of ideas?

So... WHAT? Where is the rest? How do you think being patient would make you a good pick for administrator? I realize this is not an actual job application but please put some effort into explaining why your good qualities matter. This isn't a "Who's That Pokemon!" commercial break, Mr. Happy. Stop making us guess why your qualities matter.

    HaHaNo.jpg

Thank you for the spelling bee update, sir. However, your grammar and sentence structure actually set a record for how quickly an application made me wince in horrific pain. Scroll up a bit.

You are a vending machine. Thank you for clearing that up. Since I don't believe Moderators can create and give items away this actually isn't a good qualification. Can you list any other ways you could help that would be improved by being a Moderator?

Wikipedia thanks you for your cut and paste contribution, sir.

+1: Well detailed and good hours. This is a pleasant island of writing in a poisoned desert of tangents and I've lost where this allegory was headed. #Derailed

I don't know why, but that enthusiastic "Why, Yes!" made me burst out laughing. +1

Did you kill them? Not accusing, just asking sir. Does the other server you Moderate for see you more often than every 11 days...? Does your internet work better for that server?

I just gave you several hours and a New York Times "Short Story of the Year" full of reasons, Mr. Happy. If you need any followup feel free to PM or reach out to me in-game. Happy to help, uh... Happy.

Quite welcome. I usually almost review better than most of the time. Best of luck.

I died at this part... But for all and all, I would just like to say thank you for the comic-relief of this entire post. I laughed my head off almost all the way through.

But #SayNoToHappy? Even though it was more of a "Cheer up someone's day" post... I got more +1's than -'s....

I don't give support since it means nothing. I only give feedback.

It was a play on words too fun to pass up, sir. I tried to put a "Grumpy Cat" picture there but ran into the image upload limit.

    Also:
The Support Status line means nothing, I've actually asked about this before and gotten a pretty clear "No, I don't read reviews" answer. With the new Vote Buttons style it may matter a bit more, we'll have to see. Can you even sort the forum threads by "Most Support Votes"?

Defcons♡ -- If it means nothing, go ahead and click a vote button. What's the harm?

Applications are to get feedback; they do not decide if you get a position or not. That's what Cyp decides.

Partial agreement. It is called a Moderator Application, not a Moderator Feedback. But I do agree that the main point seems to be how well someone writes and takes critique. At the end of the day I doubt Cypriot reads 43 pages of commentary; most likely it's that first post (the app) that gets a reading, followed by a ratings check and discussion with some trusted staff.
