The "solid" arguments you're talking about are as solid as water. All I saw is that all users should comply with every funny decision of a moderator and that this is family friendly server. Yet, there are still some offensive profiles, pictures and threads on forums, which are not deleted. Let the community decide which server it wants to see: full PG or not PG at all.
Pics or it didn't happen Mods are authority here. No more argument needed. If you thought his decision was wrong, the first step was still to comply. You would still have the opportunity afterwards to discuss whether your signature really was offensive or not. Maybe you would have gotten right, who knows. But you got wrong in the first place because you didn't comply to an order given by a higher instance.

Common sense that donors should get better treatment than everyone else? It says in our own damn rules that moderators are not allowed to be doing that.

I haven't seen the signature in question, but a holocaust joke should not be grounds for a ban, imo. Being an insensitive jerk isn't against rules. It's just rude. But if we can ban players for being rude then that's cool, I guess...
