In my opinion, removing it was the furthest this should've gone. However, mods are chosen to make fluid and different decisions on their own so you have to trust he was just trying to help. Send him a pm and suggest he should be more lenient in the future if he's the only offended person.
I don't see why it is a Problem that you have been banned. He warned you, for whatever doesn't matter since he is MOD, you didn't comply ===> ban. Have you made a ban Appeal? This is the only way to habe other mods look upon it. Judging by your nick and Profile pic, you are jewish. If there is anyone who is allowed to make fun with Hitler, it is you. But this is a Forum, not a Democracy, and if a mod asks you to do something, you either comply, or you live with the consequences and if you don't want to, you make an Appeal. If it is rejected, next time comply.
I do feel we all have our own opinions here. I do feel that there should be limits here. This server has been "G" rated for a very long time and should not be changed. I know that we are all humans and we all love to express our emotions and our freedoms, but on a server that has a lot of children under 16 is not right. I can see where Lemon was coming from. I have to agree with Lemon on the temp ban, because to be all honest I would have done the same thing. I myself am also a mother so if I had saw your signature I would have flipped out too. In my opinion anything that deals with violence and sexual content I will address that individual and ask them to remove it and if they don't within a certain time I will temp ban. If they give me an excuse I will then again temp ban. You see that no matter if the person is a donor or not I will either temp ban or perm ban. I do not judge whether you are a donor or a non donor if you broke a rule be prepared to take the punishment for that broken rule, in my mind it does not matter. . . we all get treated the same in my book.
When I see this thread, I think to myself, "Oh yea, I remember very clearly this signature." I remember thinking how long it would take for you to get it removed. I found it pretty funny and so did my friends, but it alludes to the Holocaust and what happened to Jewish people during that time. It wasn't appropriate and never should have been here. Just because it wasn't explicitly stated that someone was offended, doesn't mean that nobody was offended. Lemonade, not Jewish, had the ability as a mod to stand up for what was right and take care of that signature. When you refused you were seen as being ignorant and therefore banned. I imagine some people might read what I just wrote and say something along the lines that would agree with Sleepyhead's signature. There's a point where the line is crossed. Clearly you cannot see the line and need to be taught where it falls.
I don't have a right? I found it funny because of it was like a play on words with the word "concentration". Plainly because I find a bit funny, doesn't mean I lose the right to wrong from right.
As this is an open chat i do feel fight has right to say he finds it funny, And i do agree with lemon and myrmwife about the tempban, If you do something like this, some players may find it offensive, and you need to understand that. The war and hitler, still affect certain people, and cause alot of problems. So making a remark like that can actually bring alot of emotions up. I know some people will comment saying its the internet get over it. But this is a family community, and you need to understand if you have done something, and been asked to remove it, Then refuse. Their will be serious consequences, You were banned, so please dont rant or winge about it. Just get over it and calm down. Cause at the moment you seem to be acting very immature with this whole thing "If a moderator asks you to kill yourself, will you comply with his request?" That just shows your not mature enough to know how offensive your post was, and Understand why you got Banned for it. Sorry For being honest. But just reading this made me want to laugh at you.
What is with you and unwritten rules. You have to show proof of him saying this, otherwise it's not a rule.
Sorry for being honest, but reading your post made me question your logic, no offense. This thread is not about me whining like a little b****, the idea of this thread is that staff should create some sort of regulations, so such rants don't occur in the future. When one person is offended, it should not be a reason for a ban. I do get offended by some posts on the forums, but do I click "Report" button? I don't. When I see pictures about Soviet Russia, I get really offended, but I simply ignore them. After all, it's just a signature and a signature here should represent personality of a user. I suggest you to learn how to read before posting a comment. Thank you.
Exactly, I can say that being Jewish is an unwritten rule for this server, however, it won't be considered a real rule.
