Is the server 1.9 quite yet?

    The title says it all. Basically i also just want to know if it's not, is there any way to stop my client from not updating?

    No it is not updated, it will take a few months for the server to be updated(if at all).

    Ok first you can revert to 1.8 easily by going to the bottom left and clicking new profile

    Then you will find any 1.8 version you want in the drop down box

    Yours will say "use latest" im assuming.
    [​IMG]
    It should say this.

    Then name your new profile and click Save Profile.
    You will now be able to switch to 1.8 and use 1.9 if you wish too.

    Next, the server will most likely gain the "protcol hack" as it is called, which allows 1.9 clients to connect. However the actual update of the plugins and the server version itself will take a long time.

    Server updated to be 1.9 compatible. No 1.9 features yet.

    You should not have any further issues logging in, however some people are crashing or see missing chunks when they log in with 1.9. If that is happening, you can follow Krissy's instructions to go back to a 1.8 client.
