Some people report moderators because the moderator doesn't like the user. You don't have to like everyone lmao
Okay. So I understand some may think they will get a moderator demoted by reporting them. 90% of the times nothing happened to the staff member and the player ends up getting banned for not having enough proof (False Reporting). So if you do report a staff member make sure you have at least 5 Good pieces of evidence against them. Also don't purposely try to get a staff member demoted because they have done their job and punished you when u were in the wrong. Oh yeah that is true. From the outside it looks valid but its just a personal thing they have against a mod. Usually people like that are just petty and immature.
Regarding the reports if multiple people are affected, is there a way for them to put their own input on the reports?
They can each make a separate report detailing their side. But they cannot place input because only the thread creator can. You most likely collaborate and post their opinion on their behalf but that is about all.
Probably because then they need to defend themselves when not a lot of mods actually did the wrong thing. So it becomes a bother. Another little thing on their mind when all they wish to do is help people. I would be pissed too.
Most of the time all they have to do us take it with a grain of salt. The staff member most likely got reported for something dumb. Reason why they should not go in being to upset.
