Can someone tell me how many messages you have to get for each "rank?"

It isn't down to message count. It's due to the total amount of trophy points you have. Here is a list of how many points it requires for each rank title:

New Member - 0
Member - 10
Active Member - 70
Well-Known Member - 180
ExperiencedMember - 220
SeniorMember - 280

The question has been answered. Why can't a mod lock the thread.

 

You can't lock a discussion thread unless asked by the owner of the thread, or if it explicitly breaks a forum rule. A help thread can be locked once the question is answered/resolved or due to inactivity.

 

^ so unless this is moved to help, locked, then moved to help archive, only Colorado can asked for this to be locked

how do you get trophy points

 

By being a member for a certain amount of time, posting a certain amount, or by receiving a certain amount of ratings.

 

Click that and then you can view the trophies you have and all of the trophy points you can possibly get.

 

This was in the wrong section Color btw. Should of been in the help section. Anyways resolved?
