However most moderators will act when it gets really bad. Usually under the rule of disrespect. While people will always do it there is a limit to how far it goes.
Yeah, sure, we have /ignore and all that stuff. That's not the point of the thread. Survy is saying that bullying is not nice and you shouldn't do it. It's pointless and does nothing for you. We are supposed to be a community and stick together, not call people out on their flaws and make fun of them. Everyone has their own flaws, there is no need to make fun of someone for them. If you bully people, you're only doing it because hurting someone makes you feel better. You're trying to raise your self-esteem by putting other's down. If you bully people, something is wrong with you and you need to get your head on straight. This isn't about how to ignore bullying, it is about telling people to stop it. It's ridiculous.
Wow. Bullying is certainly NOT human nature. If a player is being bullied we need to stand up for said player and make sure that they feel safe to enjoy themselves within the community.
Bullying most certainly is human nature. Humans are dominating, and therefore are willing to sacrifice others to help themselves. We as humans will do anything and everything to help ourselves. That is our first instinct. Since domination is such an important part in every aspect of human life, putting down others in any sense, physical, verbal, emotional, etc. is beneficial to ourselves. It may not be right, but it's human. Standing up for others comes second, if not third, to humans.
Yes murder is also something extremely illegal, but haven't you noticed? People still do it. Do you honestly believe saying "Don't kill people" will lessen it?
I agree cyber-bullying sucks yeah but don't let it get you down. Just ignore ignorant people and get on with it. If someone is hurting your feelings on the server do /ignore <name>. If they are hurting your feelings on here just report them. I do understand it's a problem but it's an issue we simply can't resolve. It would be nice to see less bullying going on though.

Well, this is kinda entertaining. This thread is asking for equality, and everyone knows that's impossible to achieve. Human instinct wishes for people to be unique, and uniqueness isn't possible if everyone is equal. Having everyone equal also means for no one to be rude or nice to everyone else, we'd all be bland. Now, being rude to certain people is something that can't be helped. If someone makes you mad enough, you'll be rude. You can't help it. Sure, bullying someone isn't a nice thing to do to someone, but if you stop someone from bullying said person, then they'll move onto bullying someone else. Now, this makes you ask yourself this. Do you prefer the current bullied person, or someone else?
Great point everyone, but this server exists so everyone can enjoy it. Simply telling someone to leave is letting the bullies win. Everyone should be able to play without verbal harassment from EVERYONE. Therefore, verbal hate is allowed only through pm so as not to publicly humiliate someone and ruin their reputation. In the end, the moderators let this get out of hand and now everyone thinks it's ok to hate on Wade but it absolutely is not (except in PM and forumPM). Therefore, in my opinion, anyone posting hate messages in forum threads on Wade should have punishment.
There will be bullies. Several people hurt my feelings at school but I just stand my ground and accept that that is a part of life. I agree that it can get really bad though and think people shouldn't go too far.
