Woah dude, try not to cut yourself on that edge. I usually don't like arguing on the internet because it doesn't go anywhere but I write this in the hopes that somebody will genuinely understand what I'm saying. There's a difference between someone saying they're depressed and someone saying they have depression. If someone tries to diagnose themselves with actual depression, then you can run around and tell all your internet friends how wrong they are. Saying you're depressed is different, and I don't understand why people are so quick to pull the attention seeking card when people seek help on the internet, nor do I understand why it's inherently a bad thing. Sometimes when people are going through tough times, attention is what they need. For all you know they could just be looking for a friend because they don't have one who's willing to deal with their issues. I guess someone as devoid of human empathy as yourself wouldn't understand such a situation. Touching on what Krissy said, the fact that, say, African children are starving doesn't make other people's issues any less significant. If that was true, a child of divorce, or an orphan, or someone failing school, would have no right to complain as long as they're not diseased and starving. Can a starving African who doesn't have a disease complain? Other ones have it worse than he does. Maybe you don't have the right to complain that people being depressed on the internet annoys you, because there are cancer patients who have it worse than you do.
i know what you're saying but i think he's aiming for the people who go like 'i'm gonna go on the internet and whine about how depwessed i am bc no one likes me, boohoo D; then i'm gonna cut myselfff!!, even tho that doesn't solve my problems, and i can easily go to a therapist, or institutionalize myself but nuuu, i want attenthun!1!!'
I'm feel indignant that you spent your time complaining about irksome Minecraft players, rather than feeding children in Africa. How dare you.
Every time I see this picture it triggers me because it is so ignorant. Do you think those soldiers wanted to go to war? Most of them were forced, especially with other countries. They had to charge headfirst into death, because they had no choice. There's no war going on at the moment, so other issues do exist and other people aren't as strong willed as others, surely that cannot be such a big shock. Please go read a history book on the wars before posting this asinine garbage.
But we'll also ignore the military/veteran suicide rate because totally no depression, anxiety or PTSD back then, haha nope.
Same, but I don't believe this is something to joke about. It's sad people have to deal with it this. Believe it or not, some people get the same amount of mental pressure from a test at school or mean words as others do when they're almost dying. Therefore, you cannot judge them, as mentally they're going through the same amount of issues and pain or more. If we all just love each other, we will have no problems.
