Okay so here's the story:

My friend wanted to leave the island to start a new one, but we were planning on keeping the one we have (It would have became mine after she left)

So I asked someone and she said that my friend had to do /newisland

And so she made a new island

....And it didn't work.

So now we lost all of our stuff.

Is there any possible way to get our island back? If not then why didn't it work?

 

So your friend decided to leave the coop to make another island while you keep the current one. And then she asked someone on how to make an island then typed /newisland. Then she made a new island by typing that command. However the island you were in got replaced by a new one?

 

So who was the leader of the island before your friend did /newisland?

 

Its her fault. She didn't leave the coop and type /newisland. Because she typed /newisland in which it replaced your/hers current island.

 

My friend was the leader

 

The person we asked said that my friend just needed to do /newisland.

 

Pretty much. Sorry we can't do anything to help you. Its your friend's fault that she didn't leave the coop before she make a new island

For future reference I'd recommend not doing this without help or clarification of what your doing as being the correct way.

We can try to help you refund some items, though next time, make sure the coop leader leaves the island first.

No I don't have a picture of is island :/ And yes, a refund would be fabulous. I know a few people who might give me a few things for free too.

Well I lost my whole island so basically everything lol

 

Be more specific "everything" can be a bone to a dragon egg.

11 acacia wood (still not planks)
3 stacks of jungle planks
around 15 saplings of each tree
1 coal block
2 stacks of godded cobble
4 stacks of godded stone bricks
3 godded bone meal

some other godded stuff but I don't really need it
4 eye of ender
1 yellow music disk, 1 red music disk, 1 green music disk
1 jukebox
73 grass blocks
Somewhere around 30 voter keys (We didn't really use them lol)
Blue & Red lightsaber banner
2 blue slime banners, 1 green slime banner, 1 cake banner, 1 enderman banner, 1 British flag banner, 1 walrus banner, 2 yellow pyramid banners, 1 big pig banner
1 brewing stand
3 speed potions
18 eggs

And I think that's all the important stuff..
