Hello! I’m Katana, or just Kat. YES I know my name is a Japanese samurai sword and YES I've already heard your oh so funny joke about me looking sharp. I joined Skyblock forums not that long ago but I've been playing Skyblock.net for awhile now. Now I know that reading long threads can be pretty boring, so I’ll try to keep it short. Your in-game name: katino Which timezone are you in? Eastern Time (EST). Which languages do you speak? Just English. Have you ever been banned? (if yes, why?) No, and hopefully this will stay the same in the future c: Why do you think you should be a mod? I think I should be a moderator because: 1) I like to help people out. I love it when people help me out, and it's even better to return the favour! 2) I’m friendly. Even when some people aren’t friendly to me. Once I was holding a Skin Comp and a player was mad because I didn’t let her in (She didn’t pay). She kept calling me idiot but that was okay with me c: 3) Active. Even with school, I somehow manage to get on Skyblock for 3-7 hours at a time. If I could I would stay on a lot longer. 4) Dedication. I’m pretty much addicted to Skyblock, no lie. My friend showed the game to me and we’ve been playing on our island pretty much every evening since then. (Edit: We accidentally deleted the island so now we're working on our own separate ones lol) 5) Fast Typer. My first online game I ever played was a site called Animal Jam. Back in the day, when you could have an actual conversation in Animal Jam (also known as ‘free chat’), I was quite a social bird. And this was when I was 8 or 9, so I’d consider myself a pretty decent typer now a days c: 6) Trustworthy. Of course I wouldn’t ban people for no reason. That would just be silly and rude. You can trust me that I’ll only ban/mute/kick people for a good reason. 7) Grammar. Okay, okay. You may be thinking “Why is this important?”. Well you and I know that some people on Minecraft purposely have rubbish grammar and some refuse to use that skill in-game. And if you’re reading these sentences, you probably know that I have reasonable grammar (Literature is actually my favourite subject!) 8) Loyal. If you know me in real life, I’m very loyal. If a player trusts me to their island, I won’t go out and grief them when they’re gone. 9) Respectful & Fair. I try to be as respectful and fair as I can. I sure don’t like it when people aren’t fair and respectful for me, so I’m sure I’d be these attributes to the people around me. 10) Mature. Okay so “mature” can be defined in many many ways. Some people think it’s being as serious as possible, but I think different. To me, being mature is watching your words, encouraging others, being kind, and helping anyone who needs it. How long can you be active on the server every day? I'm on Skyblock usually in the evening for 1-8 hours on a school day. On weekends, it varies from all day to being on for just a minute. I'm usually on the forums during lunch and in-between classes during co-op (It's like public school, but not everyday c: ) and after school whenever I'm not on the Skyblock server. Do you have any past experience as a moderator? No, Skyblock.net is really the only server in Minecraft I play. Thank you so much for reading this. Great application, but moderating means you need to be able to moderate the forums and the server. Neutral support for now
