Hello, my name is Misty. I wanted to tell a little bit about myself. I am 29 years old and a mother of two. I am in college right now working on getting my teaching degree. I am a child at heart and love anything that allows me to be creative. Skyblock.org is the first sever I have ever played and I fell in love with it. Thank you for taking the time to read my application and I appreciate all feedback.

Why do you think you should be a mod?​

I feel like I could make a great mod. I love helping others. This server is more than a server, it is a community. I try daily to help as many people as I can but I can only do so much without having to go get a mod. I find it amazing that so many people come to me with questions about the server. I try to lead them all in the right direction and help out when needed. Helping people around the server is my favorite thing to do, and it's what keeps me coming back daily. My favorite people to help are those that are new to skyblock. Helping them feels like bringing someone new into the family. When I first started I was met by so many amazing people so it's nice to be able to actually help when new people come to skyblock. I also feel like I could help cut out all of the bad language. There are children on the server and I want to make sure they are able to be in a positive atmosphere.

What qualifications do you have? ​

Investment: I am invested in this server. Both of my children play on the server and I will do everything in my power to make sure that the server is child friendly, grief free, and spam free. I have seen so many people lose their stuff and I know how hard they worked for their items. I have also seen people bullying others and that is something I do not tolerate.

Maturity: I have my moments, but I am usually quite mature. I know how to handle situations effectively and deescalate situations. I can react quickly to assess situations to see if a mod needs to get involved.

Friendly: I love people. I love talking to people, making new friends, and helping others. I feel this kind of attitude is needed as moderator because you have to deal with a lot of different kinds of people. I enjoy talking to others whenever they are down and trying to cheer them up. Sometimes people just need you to listen and I love being one of the people they go to.

Fair: I believe in treating everyone the same. This includes friends, donors, my own children, and greenbeans. I don't think that anyone should get special treatment if they are breaking the rules on skyblock.

Helpful: My whole island is dedicated to helping people on skyblock. I enjoy finding new ways to help all the different people on the server. I have an information center, and try to put all the mobs in public spawners so that everyone is able to get what they need on their island. I help out on other's islands when they are trying to expand but don't have /fly or when they just need something built that they are unable to do their selves.

Informed: I try my best to keep up to date on what is illegal and what is legal on skyblock. I also try to keep informed on what things are working and what is down. This makes it easier to know what is going on when someone has a problem.

How long can you be active on the server everyday? ​

I'm in college but most of my classes are online. This leaves quiet a bit of time for me to play. I'm usually on a few hours a day. Probably between 3-6 hours.

How long have you been playing skyblock.org? ​

I have only been playing for a few months but I feel I have learned so much while being here.

Do you have any past experience as a moderator? ​

Does moderating children count? I do not have experience in moderating a server but I have worked with children and teens since I have been of age to work.
