Intro-
Hi guys, my name is Kira and this is my moderator application. I guess I'll say a bit about myself, I'm a 12 year old girl that enjoys soccer and football, as well as sprinting, I do rather well in school getting B's and A's, recently, I just completed my first year of high school, and I accomplished quite a lot. I don't know what I wish to be when I finish school, but I want to go to a college in Europe or something.

My current in-game name is kiratajhkyle, although when my brother gets his own account, I plan on changing it to Kira_

My current age is 12, but as of March I will be 13.

What timezone are you in?
I live in Queensland, Australia, so that would make it GMT+10:00 I believe. If I'm incorrect, please correct me.

What country do you live in?
As stated above, I live in Queensland, Australia.

What languages do you speak?
The only language I'm 100% confident with is English, which I can speak and type fluently, most days I can also speak some phrases, words and sentences of Japanese, as it's a compulsory subject that I've taken for 2 years now.

Have you ever been banned? (if yes, why?)
About a year or two ago, I was banned, yes. I admit that this is my account, and my responsibility, and I have ensured that since then, I have kept anyone and everyone off of it to make sure it doesn't happen again. I didn't have to appeal, because the day I returned, was the day the ban list did reset.

Why do you think you should be a mod?
I am completely aware that this is my second moderator application, the first time I applied, after a while, I believed that I wasn't ready at all, I had many things about myself that needed to change, and I'm well aware there are still things that need to be changed, I'm trying to work on it now. I think I should be moderator because, my maturity is quite high above the average for my age-level. I've had people ask how old I am and when I answer with '12' they almost immediately expect me to be some snobby stuck-up child that knows nothing, after a while, they see that I'm more than that. (I cringe at this next sentence when I read it myself, but oh well) There are some people, that after a while of speaking to me and seeing what I do, how I act, they ask how old I am, and are rather surprised when I say that I'm 12. I feel as if I am rather more active than most current moderators, as of holidays, I've been on close to all day. I believe I am ready to uphold the responsibilities of a moderator, ready to take on the challenge head on, to work with new people and learn new things, to learn extended patience and tolerance. I feel as if this opportunity would help in the long run, in game and in real life.

What qualifications do you have?

Maturity: I believe I show high maturity for my age-group. I am relatively knowledgeable of how to deal with conflict and assist in a practical manner.

Kind: Like everyone, I have my days, yes, but I try my hardest upon my power to apologise and make it up to anyone I offend or hurt. I believe I show kindness to players, assisting them if they need, providing starting materials and information to any that needs it.

Focused: When I am given a set task, I am generally very focused to complete and accomplish set tasks to the best of my abilities.

Fair: I'm fair towards every player, I don't favour anyone. Everyone is my friend to start with, and will continue to be, whether it be one sided or not. I believe each and every player are worth the exact same as the next or last. Just like the next person, there will be times where I am focused on a conversation with my good friends, but I try to concentrate on chat at all times.

Helpful: I feel as if I am very helpful. I try my best to direct each player in the correct direction, helping with commands, to start islands, and provide helpful area's upon my island. In fact, right now, me and a few others are working on an island for the community, it will have all the rules, staff, it will have tutorials, a grinder and a free shop for starter islands. I believe this island will go very far.

Active: I am pretty active, on holidays I am on for a good portion of the day, trying to be as helpful as I can. As for school days, I still try to maintain activity, coming on at nights or later afternoons when other mods are generally asleep.

Generally decent typer:I admit, I am definitely not the fastest typer out there, but I type generally fast, but quite accurately. I try to respond as fast as possible with as little mistakes and as clear as possible. Typing too fast often leads into misconceptions and confusion, as well as distinct, avoidable spelling mistakes.

Honest: I am a very honest person. Sometimes people may think of it as me being rude, but in reality, it's just an honest fact. Geo and I both share this trait and often get pegged with insults after we've stated the inevitable; 'Oh no, someone just took all my stuff! ' -Person 'You shouldn't of trusted random people to start with, but I'll help you get a few things back' -Me 'Jerk' -Them. I understand that sometimes honesty is not appreciated, but there are children that play and I believe that children should grow up believing distinct lies.

Forums: I am very active on forums as well as in-game. As the forums is half the job of a moderator, it is good to know where things are, and how things work. I try my best to go through each section and help people when they need, on a thread.

How long can you be active on the server everyday?
I will do 2 separate timings as my times range according to activities placed on certain periods of time.

Sunday- About 12 hours a day

Monday- 4-12 hours a day

Tuesday- 4-12 hours a day

Wednesday- 4-12 hours a day

Thursday- 4-10 hours a day

Friday- 6-18 hours a day

Saturday- 6-20 hours

School weeks-

Sunday- 0-2 hours

Monday- 1-3 hours

Tuesday- 1-3 hours

Wednesday- 1-3 hours

Thursday- 1-3 hours

Friday 1-6 hours

Saturday- 6-20 hours

How long have you been playing skyblock.org?
I have been playing skyblock.org for nearly 3 years.

Do you have any past experience as a moderator?
I refuse - now- to count any server with less than 10 players that played at a time, so no. I do not have much experience. I know a small amount of commands and I hope to learn more in the future.

I would like to thank anyone that's supported me over the years, helping me improve my attitude towards everything, helping me succeed in getting as far as I did. Thank you for the feedback, although where do you suggest I add the colour? Honestly my preference is bold and underline and some colours are intolerable to different players.

I personally like red and black. I make my subtitles red and the rest black so normal font. Or you could do red and a dark colour
