"Just a fetus" It's another valuable life that you'd be killing, considering that the possibility of it being a stillborn isn't as likely.
I guess you can consider me pro-life; I follow what the Bible says about abortion. As I said above, I think exceptions should be made with things like rape. The way I see it, is that you're killing another human-being that had the potential to have a great life. Is it really anyone's authority to take that potential away from someone? With things such as rape, you didn't have a choice. That's the only time I see it as okay, if it's really necessary.
Well, most religions are against abortion aren't they? ._. But not everyone believes in God, so if you're an atheist like me, I feel like it IS their choice if they wanna kill it. And like I said, could've been a stillborn anyway.
I'm not going to bother arguing about religion here, but - It is just a fetus. And yes, it is their right. It's their life, they get to choose whether they want to abort a kid, or not. It's not of your business whether that 'potential human being' dies or not. Plus, what if the mother is poor? Maybe sick? There are so many possibilities of it being born unhealthy, or in a horrible place, and suffering a lot throughout it's life. Oh and as you can tell, I ain't pro life, lmao.
A fetus is not a 'potential human being.' It is a human being. The terms 'fetus' and 'embryo' are not names for a non-human, but rather they are names for humans in a particular stage of development. If the mother was poor, sick, etc. then she should've realized the possibility that she could've become pregnant. I've already said that rape is a different story, so I'm assuming you're speaking of the mothers who just simply do not want to face the outcome of their decisions. Obviously many babies are born into bad families, but that doesn't make them a worthless individual. Someone who should be killed in order to avoid having a hard childhood. It's very simple as to why I believe it's wrong; you're killing a person. It doesn't matter if this person is inside of you, it's still a living human. Prior to the earliest abortions, the unborn already has every body part that it will ever have. Sure, your choice, your body. What it comes down to is whether or not you want to kill a living life.
I only agree with one part of what you said. It's a being inside their body. It's their life. Their choice. Get over it. It has literally nothing to do with you. It's their goddamn kid.
I guess you don't understand what I'm saying. Just because it's your choice, doesn't make it right. I never said it had anything to do with me; last time I checked, I am free to state my beliefs and free to justify why I don't support something. I have nothing against the people who get abortions, but I do have something against their choice. "It's their goddamn kid." With this logic, it might as well be fine to kill a 3 year old toddler. I mean, it is their kid, right?
Lol okay, but seriously I don't see how their choice impacts you. Plus, I think it's perfectly fine when the kid is INSIDE their body.
