Okay, seriously. I know I'm not the first person to notice this, but many mod applications are simply getting tons of credit for being amazing because they have a ton of posts. Do you know why they have a ton of posts? Because some of the people that create these applications spam "Bump" on their thread. No offense Talia_ but you told me specifically in your moderator application, that you bump the application every two days. If I were to count, over 300 of the replies in your app are bumps (Actually, I did count). Seriously. I think that applications should have a bump limit, as to how many times one person can bump the application. My proposal is that the owner can bump it 10 times and that other people can bump it only once. I have no clue what the consequences of violating this would be, but please, PLEASE take this into consideration. It's for the good of all applications. Trust me.

I do bump. But the simple way to reduce the bumps is to delete them. If i didn't delete my bumps I would reach page 11.

I'm not even sure if it'd be possible to not being able to make members not post anything with "bump" in it after they've said it multiple times.
I honestly don't see this as useful.

 

Grave digging is posting on a thread in off topic, discussion or an introduction after 30 days has passed with no replies. However, it is legal on applications and suggestions and help threads.

I don't understand how the amount of posts on an application matters. If the applicant is mod material, then they are suitable for the position. It's not determined on how many post their application has.

 

No support. A good applicant should be able to differentiate between what a good amount of time for a bump is compared to one that, for lack of better words, is not as good.
