- New protections for locked islands:
- Players cannot use /back or /homes to return to a locked island unless they are trusted
- Players cannot teleport themselves or others to locked islands unless they are the island owner or a coop member
- New protections against unwanted mob spawning and spawner changes:
- Players can only use /spawner on islands where they are trusted.
- This is based on the block they are looking at. This means if they are standing on their island, but looking at a spawner on someone else's island, they cannot change it unless they are trusted there.
- Players can only use /spawnmob on islands where they are trusted
- This is based on where the mob would have been spawned, for example spawning mobs onto another player only works if the target player is on an island where the command issuer is trusted
- Players can only use /spawner on islands where they are trusted.
- New protections against players getting into private areas:

Hey guys, today - May 23rd, marks the 5th year anniversary of Skyblock.net!
May 23rd marks the day Classic SB as you know it was first released! After many struggles from the earliest server made (can't remember exact date ) in June or July of 2012, the server was eventually reset and Classic SB was born. I promised the community then, that I would never reset the server again, and since then i've stayed true to that and we've been through a lot of changes from the old 9x9 gray wooled spawn. With over 2.7 million players joined and the world capped out at 500k islands. I would just like to thank everyone that has been apart and continues to be apart of our community, whether you joined a few days ago or a few years ago.
5 years is a very long time, and it has been a huge chunk of my life. Never have I thought that I would be making a thread like this for anything. Skyblock is something I first created right after middle school and along the way i've built great friendships...

Skyblockers,
After many player requests we are glad to be rolling out a brand new command for island owners and coop members:
The "boot" command removes unwelcome guests from your island or coop, sending them back to their own island or to the server spawn if they do not have a home. To prevent obvious problems you will not be able to boot other coop members, the island owner or Staff members. Trusted players on the island are not immune and can be removed.
As a reminder it is polite to ask a player to leave before resorting to booting them yourself. This usually results in a favorable outcome for both parties and is just generally good manners.
Additionally while it should go without saying it is important to note: All /boot commands are logged. If used maliciously or to scam players you may find yourself unable to use it in the future.
Thank you to everyone who suggested this change and helped test it. The...

- Changes to the Mob Spawning setting for players' islands (the spawn egg icon under /settings)
- The Mob Spawning setting now simply controls natural mob spawning on your island
- If the setting is enabled, mobs spawn naturally (like vanilla Minecraft)
- If the setting is disabled, mobs do not spawn naturally (like on Classic)
- No longer necessary to enable Mob Spawning setting for Spawner cages to work
- Spawner cages will work even with the Mob Spawning setting turned off, as long as the requirements for the specific mob type (light level, Y-height, nearby blocks, etc.) have been met
- This change corrects a bug that was unintentionally introduced in a recent server update that was causing mobs to spawn naturally on players' islands even if the Mob Spawning setting was disabled
- The Mob Spawning setting now simply controls natural mob spawning on your island
- Update: Mob spawners have been added to the list of ground items that will not be removed by ClearLag
- For your reference,...
