- The island level values for vines, ice, and cobblestone have been changed to zero
- Previously, players were able to gain tens of thousands of levels with very little effort, simply by growing vines, pouring lava and water to make giant cobble pyramids, or changing their island to an ice biome and pouring layers of water to turn into ice overnight
- This led to a large number of complaints from other players who felt they were being unfairly denied a chance to be on the top 20 islands list because several slots were occupied by islands with large quantities of these naturally occurring blocks
- We previously set a limit on the number of these types of blocks that could count towards the island level, but it turns out the cap was being ignored due to a bug
- The island leveling routine will need to be rewritten to fix this issue and several other bugs, but in the meantime, setting the value of these blocks to zero addresses the majority of players' complaints...

- The Boat Riding setting has been removed due to a problem that was causing the server to crash under certain conditions
- Players should avoid placing boats in ponds that have lily pads, since anyone can push or ride boats into the lily pads and break them
- Players can still only place boats on islands where they are trusted or that have the Block Place setting enabled

- Slime pets are now disabled
- Players were using them to kill unsuspecting players even if PVP was disabled
- May be re-enabled in the future if they can be made harmless to other players
- Flame arrows now longer set players on fire when PVP is blocked
- Previously, arrow damage was blocked, but fire effect was not, allowing players to kill unsuspecting players even if PVP was disabled
- Now follows standard PVP rules (both players must have opted into PVP using /pvp, be on an island with the PVP setting enabled, and have /god mode disabled)
- Note blocks are now protected
- Note blocks can only be interacted with by trusted players or by visitors if they Redstone setting is enabled
- Prevents visitors from changing note blocks in redstone music builds
