• Untrusted players can no longer use arrow to break paintings, minecarts, armor stands, or boats on other players' islands
• Fire arrows and splash potions with negative effects can no longer harm players' animals unless the shooter is trusted or the island the projectile lands on has the Animal Damage setting enabled
• Fire arrows and splash potions with negative effects now follow standard PVP rules (both the shooter and the target must have have opted in to PVP using the /pvp command, be on an island the PVP setting is enabled or a public space where PVP is allowed, and neither player may have /god mode enabled)

SkyWars is now officially back! The original SkyWars.com server with a new spawn is now back together with Skyblock! Fight upon floating islands and be the last player standing!

To connect simply type /skywars or bring up the server menu by typing /servers.

We will be adding new and exciting updates over the next few months and we are still fixing some things here and there, so please let us know of any bugs you may experience.

The last week has been very busy behind the scenes. Most of the fixes were not very "flashy" but make some fundamental improvements to efficiency and underlying mechanics. Here is a snapshot of recent changes and efforts:

• Island boundaries now behave correctly in all quadrants of the map.
• Boundaries now correctly handle all of the following:
  • Water/lava flow-- liquids stay within the buildable area of the owner's island.
  • Pistons-- Cannot extend, push or pull blocks outside of buildable area of owner's island.
  • Changebiome-- Stops at the edge of the island instead of messing with the neighbor.
• Newisland now removes island blocks 24000% faster (not an exaggeration) and does not lag the entire server.
• A bug where replacing an island would "slice off" a bit of the neighboring plot has been removed.
  
• A bug with Coop invites no longer creates duplicate islands.
• Dispensers can no longer be used over island...

Hello, fellow Skyblockers,

It has come to the attention of the team, that there are players who wish to have certain aspects of their accounts removed for privacy reasons… be it previous past names, or posts left hanging about.

There is a possible bypass for this, where a new account is created and merged with your old one, removing select information, such as listed previous names, or posts you wish you no-longer had.

The reasoning behind this is due to the fact that some people first sign up to the forums using real-names or names they'd rather forget, whether initially deliberate or affected by autofill, they later request to change their name and no-longer wish to be associated with it for whatever reason.

If you start a fresh account, what will be carried over?

- Post count will remain the same as your previous account. (Assuming that’s not what you wanted removed). Merged posts won't be viewable in your post history.
