Why do you think you should become a mod?


I think I should become a Moderator for many valid reasons. Firstly I’d like to acknowledge that I am one of the more mature players on the server. I’m 16 and many of the players on the server are younger than me so I can be a role model. I want to become a mod because (no offense) most of the current staff team is lacking. They simply don’t do their job and mute/kick people for ridiculous reasons. Also, some staff are still young and still are experiencing new social situations that come their way. Me, on the other hand, is someone who has soaked up years of experience. I’m experienced in managing servers, dealing with people socially and physically. As a staff member, I will abide by the rules and try to help people not make the same mistakes they have in the past. Temp-Muting someone for 24 hours for calling someone “An Attention Seeker” is not a way to handle a social situation. I will help and understand users and their situations rather than getting their ban wrong and causing more commotion on the forums. As a staff member, it’s important to keep the server in order without any hurtful problems. The only reason the owner has staff is to keep the server running without problems 24/7. But then the Owner gets problems because the staff doesn't know how to work properly. Also, a trait a mod should have is being original and coming up with new ideas, not old ones. For Example, being original in anything like an application is important rather than copying everyone else.

How long can you be active on the server every day?

In the summer I’m active from 11am-5pm and 10 pm--4 am
In the school days, I’m active from 4-11pm

Unfortunately, yes I have recently for 3 days in the game for apparently being disrespectful, but many staff and members of the community didn’t think it deserved a ban anyway.


Do you have any past experience as a moderator?

I was a moderator for a factions server and at the time they were getting as many as 3000 users per day. This proved I could handle large amounts of people.

I also owned a Vanilla Minecraft Server a while back which only managed to reach a max of 20 players.

I was an also a mod on Krizzy_D’s Server which is no longer active and other small servers.

I’m not only mod on Minecraft Servers but also many twitch streams like thegoodlad77

Firstly, you were banned on Discord twice recently, you need to learn from your mistakes. You have been rude to many players on Discord. I never see you in game either, nor do you help on forums. Also, don’t call the staff trash and lacking, that only makes your applying worse. This is rather more selfish to say we do not work properly while you do, we do not want someone talking trash about our fellow team members. If you do not think we work properly, do not apply.

My desicion is that you are rude, disrespectful, selfish, immature, and you just met the requirements, give it some time.

Firstly, don't come at me like I'm some animal, I'm the most humble and respectable human you have ever met. Maybe you don't like me because we got off on a bad foot. Secondly, I'm on every day and I actually don't see you on. Thirdly don't tell me what to do when I'm giving my opinions on the current staff team. Staff are meant to help not bash someone. Fourthly you know nothing about my work habits and I'm applying to make the staff team work again properly.

Also instead of bashing someone Application like it's garbage, at least point out suggestions and ways to make the application better. I'm not the immature one.

 

You have to take constructive feedback/criticism correctly, not offesnively. You don’t have to bring up my inactivity, and my computer also broke, if you have not noticed, I still know who comes on and who does not. If you cannot take constructive feedback/criticism right this position is not for you.

Yo guys first off I'd like to say zlatan is on mostly every day I know since since I voice chat with him and play with him on a daily basis from my experience he is easygoing and and easy compromise with but can be annoying I haven't and to b Honest watched his interactions with other due to the fact I don't see his general ig chat messages

How is that being Selfish? I had the right to be aggravated because I got banned for a ridiculous reason and that's why my application was accepted. It's not being immature its knowing whats right and fair.

 

You've always been short with me and are always pretty rude. You seem to have no patience either, and if you can't take at least some feedback, you're not ready to become a mod

 

I don't think you have the qualities of a mod. You do not talk with respect. You don't trust the staff team and bash them. It's called a team for a reason. If you don't like the team, you shouldn't be on it. You have to be able to work together, not go against.

As for your recent ban, your app was only accepted because you agreed that if you disrespected again, it would be a harsher punishment. If you believe you did nothing wrong, you shouldn't be unbanned.

Ironic how all the staff is no supporting my application because of what I said. Do I take back what I said? No, because it's not only my opinion but it's other peoples as well. They are just too afraid to say it. I'm a man the people, I can be in communication much better with players If I'm on the staff team. And your staff don't know me personally, you know me by my outer shell. Get to know me, I'm not actually rude or immature. And my point about the staff team is bad is that I can make it better.

 

...and my opinion is that to be on the team, you have to be a part of the team. Automatically thinking every staff member is bad without knowing them from the inside isn't good mod behavior. I respect your opinion. I just don't believe you'd make a good staff member at all.

I see you on pretty much every day. I don't see you helping out many people though in chat, even with the simplest things.

Improvements to make on your application:
As BertBerry stated, DON'T bold your answers, bold the questions. It makes it super hard to read paragraphs when the whole thing is bolded. This is constructive feedback, take it rather than just saying "the answers are more important than the question". We are trying to help you improve.

Now, I do agree with SOME of your statements partially. The current staff team can be improved upon, but that does not mean bash the current staff team, maybe you should give staff constructive feedback rather than assume that they are all terrible.

Action Improvements:
I do think that you need to take constructive feedback less offensively and more as a thing to improve on, as Emerald stated earlier.

Help players out more on the server, even with the smallest of things. Seek out people to help and assist, not just when they come to you.

Improve your in-general response to people. You come off as quite rude and immature when you are given feedback. The way that you respond to people right now is not staff worthy.

Being banned for calling someone 'ugly' is NOT staff material. Seriously? "Most people/mods didn't think I deserved a 2 day ban for that". Yeah, maybe not a 3 day ban, but it defiantly puts into question if you are even worthy of being a staff member or not. THAT is immature. You are disrespectful in chat too.

Improve on all of the things above plus some, and I might change my stance on your app.
