[Woozle] Talking [Akrill] [Resolved]

So,

I this is in regard to a mute, not a ban, but it needs to be reported.

I was just ingame and saw a moderator telling people to, in their own words, "shut the hell up." I suggested that since moderators lead by example, perhaps they should not be talking like that.

The mod who said that, Gemma, recognized that she was in a bad mood, and left the server.

Then Akrill stepped in and started getting on my case simply for suggesting that mods should act as they want the community to act. According to what I've seen, I can tell people on the server to shut the hell up any time I please, but I can't politely suggest that moderators should act in a way that they want their players to act.

He told me to stop talking, I asked for a reason. As far as I am aware, I am allowed to talk in public chat. I was not argumentative in any way, I simply talked, and he muted me.

I have screens showing how it played out, and those will be posted shortly.

4. Did you read the rules ? Yep, and talking is not against the rules.

7. Were you ever banned before on SkyBlock? If so, what for? Not once.
8. Why do you think you should be unmuted? Because I've done nothing wrong.

 

This is where the bulk of my disagreement comes in. Akrill's quote "As a Mod, I say and you do," is incredibly offensive. He is not some be all end all god. As a mod, his job is to enforce the server rules. I've not broken any rules and moderators who act like he did here only server to create a hostile server atmosphere. Along with that, I'm not going to take lip like that from a kid who's 10 years younger than me. I don't care about age, but learn to respect people in general. His actions are 100% what I take issue with. You can also see me saying that if players were to follow the actions of certain mods, that it could land them in hot water. You can also see me disagreeing with what he said there. None of this is in any way antagonistic.


Here is Akrill telling me to stop talking. You can then see my response below asking for a reason as to why I should stop talking. thened chimes in again, still don't know who he is.


Here's Akrill telling me there is no reason and that none will be given. I say that is because there is no good reason. Also, I'm not sure who thened is, but I don't see where he says I was acting smart and tough. I spoke as I am speaking now, so if that seems like I'm trying to sound smart, I apologize, that's what a college education buys you. As far as acting tough, I don't see where he got that idea. You can go check out the logs yourself if you want.
