Your in-game name: pgain88 Nick name in game: Patric Which time zone are you in? I am currently in -5 (Central USA). I play at nights till mornings mainly (5pm - 4am). What languages do you speak? I speak English, Spanish, and Arabic. Have you ever been banned? I have never been banned, nor will I ever be banned. Why do you think you should be a mod? As a moderator, I will do my best to help the players of skyblock with anything and everything. I will enforce the rules without coming off as rude and disrespectful. I'll always be looking for issues and give the appropriate punishment according to. Crime is easy to hide but harder to find. I will keep myself busy with the problems and concerns of other players. I will stop all arguments and prevent new ones from occurring. I never seem to find coherent staff online to help at the times of others despair, so wish to fill in the gap. I want to keep skyblock a safe and friendly place for all players. If I am to be granted the position of Moderator, I will stop at nothing to prevent people such as griefers, spammers, scammers, and bridgers from ever breaking the rules twice. I will take it on as my full and sole responsibility to protect and serve our server with pride and dignity. How long can you be active on the server every day? I can be active for at least five hours or more daily. How long have you played skyblock.net? I've been a loyal player since 2012. A little on who you are: My name is Patric. Im a 17-year-old attending college part time to become a commercial pilot. I always have time for Skyblock. After playing on the server for a few years, I've learned what can be done in my free time. So, I'm always online doing something enjoyable. I have a lot of free time because even though I attend college, I don't receive homework due to the fact that it's all simulators or field work. I can be a fun, joy-filled person, but when necessary, I can be the serious hand the server needs. I'm a dedicated, hard-working and honest person. I like to help everyone and I will no matter what race, form or maturity level they are. I currently hold a reward for saving someone's life. It was beheld to me by my local government because I saw someone in need, and I gave that person a lot of help physically and mentally. I enjoy helping. It's not something one does, but it's a lifestyle. I am a person that loves life and people in general. I never give up; I only exhaust all possible options. I'm always willing to go out of my way and help those that need it. Do you have any past experience as a moderator? Yes, I've been a moderator and an admin on three past servers before I discovered Skyblock. What have you done for this server? I have single-handedly introduced eight new players to skyblock. I have told most of my school about this server. I always decline invites to new servers because no other server can beat ours. I even recommend skyblock to those that recommend other servers to me. I have helped the server financially multiple times. I've bought the IOS application "Minechat" just so I could be able to help people when I'm AFK. I always guide new players in the correct direction for success on this humble server of ours. I plan to do much more greater things in the future if you may let me show you what greatness comes with this power I request. What qualities would make you good for the job? I have many qualities, it would be hard to put all of them in this text. But the main ones would be: Understanding Passion Dedication Ethic Smarts Empathy Calmness (No anger) Confidence Additional Statements: I love this server so much. I have enjoyed every second I have ever spent online here. The people on this server have such great traits, and there is no one on this server who couldn't become successful in life. When I'm feeling down, I can always trust that the players of skyblock can help me. People say that Minecraft is just a game, but it is far greater than that. It is the feeling of happiness that you get from playing. It's the enjoyment and excitement of it. It's all just bits of data and code, and when you put it together, you create a large, friendly community. This is what I feel Skyblock is, especially because of the people that make it the best. There is no other server greater than skyblock. I assure you of this, so stop wasting time looking, you have already found the one... Thank You for your consideration. Gracias por su tiempo. شكرا
First!Support, just try and be a little more mature, you and your sneaky remarks on chat sometimes is a bad image XD Also add a little color and add what qualities you have which will make you a great mod.
I agree with Chesh, you have great potential to become a T-Mod Maybe add some fonts to make it appealing and bold letters as well, maybe? 25+25+35% support Keep up with the good work
This looks great and neat. Hm, I support %99.99999 The %0.00001 Is cuz of the ants thing >.< XD Well then, time for my support stamp #Support
No support whatsoever. If you can't even go through a link, and actually READ it, you can't be a mod. You just can't. Apparently that's rude, I personally disagree. But here is the revised version: I agree it's a common mistake to not include "USA" in the title. I say no support either way. Moderators should know and read the rules, by heart.
I see now, Im sorry for failing to add my location to the title and losing your support. I will fix it now, and thanks for your help. For everything else in the Rules paragraph was not to do.(Im in college, my language skills are advanced, so please don't think I cant understand simple English.) I miss read the paragraph, It said all of the things not to do and one thing to do, I read it to quickly in my horror I did it wrong. Thanks.
I support 100% I don't know you to well but I do know that you give away a lot a expensive items to starters so they can work toward something. and you always help everyone with silly stupid questions too. Your a great help.
Nice App. You are a fairly new player I think (correct me if I'm wrong) I see you in-game and you are very helpful, the way you've presented this is immaculate if I must say so . I would recommend helping out as best you can in-game. Although other then that, well done, you have my full support and, good luck iRevveh
You shouldn't accuse people of that, common error, I'd watch what you say before posting. Keep in mind being polite is a big part of the forums.
Ahem. Let me reword it then? If you do not take enough time to go through the rules, you shouldn't be a moderator, at least for now. Therefore, no support. EDIT: It's a common mistake to not include "USA" in the title. I say no support either way. Moderators should know and read the rules, by heart.
As a mod myself I did read all the rules but I didn't add my [AUS] tag to mine straight away either- at the start I had no clue- I did read the rules though, It slipped right through my mind, afterwards I did remember but then I didn't add it because I didn't want everyone knowing what country I lived in just by looking it up, afterwards I felt comfortable in the end and added it. I agree with Patrics' "rude" rating he gave you, if you and him have bad history you should ignore it and focus on the ability they have to be a mod- you should try to not to be biased towards anyone in general... If you are biased though please explain why so we know what happened and we should be aware of- also so Patric can work on your feedback and fix the issue before it may happen again.
I just go through the Applications section and post the exact same thing on anyone without the tag. Nothing personal, but obviously to him it is. I'll leave the thread now, opinion unchanged.
To clarify it, Michal and I have no "beef" with each other as far as im aware. Just a small miss understanding. It was my fault for not putting the proper tag on the title. I read the rules page before I posted this query, about seven times, so that I could have a good and proper application. Thank you guys for trying to help me out though. I really appreciate it. (Just shows how much this community sticks together to help one another) There is only one way to avoid criticism: do nothing, say nothing, and be nothing. ~Aristotle~
He rated your post reasonably and responded maturely and respected your criticism. If that isn't mature for you than I don't know what is. He can rate as he pleases and that one negative rate doesn't make him any less mature or any more childish. Your wording wasn't very nice anyways. Now for your mod app all I ask is not to mention your donations. Though they are appreciated, money won't get you moderator . For activity I would like to see you on the forums more often because I don't seem to spot you here very much. Not saying to post for every little thing but to help out those with questions an such with the knowledge you got c: And lastly if you are a donor I would like to know what you use for /nick, if you do. Therefore I can keep my eye on you. As of yet, I think I am leaning to the support side.
Thanks for the review, I'll resolve the few issues you pointed out. My nick IG is : Patric. I will take your advice and be more active on the forms. I read most, rate rarely, and reply scarcely. Thanks You!
