With the inclusion of streaming through Minecraft itself, there has been a large increase in advertising twitch accounts and a bit of confusion about what exactly you can and cannot do. I aim to clarify a bit on what exactly our guidelines are on this matter. First off, I think this book might assist. A select few of you may have a copy of this from me or another mod. It sums up our in-game feelings on Twitch. As for on the forums there's really only one rule to observe. If you advertise your stream on our forums, you can't be on servers not owned by crew. This will count as indirectly advertising, and you will see punishment for it on the forums as harsh as a permanent forum ban. Note: Unless deemed necessary by Crew or Cypriot, you will not receive in-game punishment for the forums offense. Thank you for reading, happy streaming.
This is since we don't have a rules thread for me to put it on and to let everyone know. Your thread was simply a reminder that this needed doing.
