I am horribly guilty of the "Checking bottle temperature" thing. I used to throw that sucker back and take a big gulp, that formula was delicious. As for the "checking diaper" instruction: I used a measuring stick. Shove stick in, pull out, check how deep the brown stuff goes. No brown stuff? Good times. 1-2cm? Probably last another half hour. 5-6cm? DEFCON-1, homeboy.
I've seen these, I showed them to my older sister who recently had a child. She said to me, "even if you did read all of those, I still don't trust you with my child." I rofl, xD.
