hello, Cissa (narccissamalfoy) told me how to make my skin show and she said to ask someone to make my prefix at least that's what I think its called, (the thing above my head) white, that way my skin will show
and not as steve

It is absolutely able to be fixed, a simple configuration needs to be changed.

Why would a colour nametag stop you from showing your skin? :s

 

It adds &6 at the start of the name, which makes it too long and making the name shorter which therefore puts you as steve as it cannot find the player with the 1 or 2 letters missing

 

Oh right, I'll check the configuration then with Crew later.

Go to Plugins-->NameTags-->config.yml-->Then just change noChangeForLongNames to true.

noChangeForLongNames: [default false] If true, long names that would get cut off, instead don't get colored
