    A waiting period of at least 3 months before trying to apply for moderator's rank (since the date he/she joins the forums).

    Well, I kinda understand that, since I got mod within 2 weeks on my alt, but I really don't think that it's needed, because you could of been a member for a few years in the community and just be new to forums. I mean I think it's a great idea and It would give a lot of users time to thing about things before actually applying as well as them getting used to the whole forums thing.

    it has pros and cons, but all in all support.

    3 months is too long considering someone may have been playing for more than that but only made an account recently. 1 month, if a time was set, is a good amount of time: not too long and not overly pointless. This way they, in that month, can prove they are dedicated to the forums that they will be able to moderate it.

    To be honest, the amount of bad applications that have been uploaded recently are unbelievable. Regarding the waiting period, i just posted a random number and is open for discussion.

    I honestly applied like the day or at least within the first week since I joined skyblock >w>;;

    look where I am now, been a moderator twice. XD

    Someone who has been on the forums a long time can also write a bad application. The application process is one that a "bad app" will not be accepted anyway so there is no reason why people should be discriminated against in the application process in regards to length of time as member.

    How can a 1 -2 weeks period be enough to prove that a person is dedicated to forums? Write a bad application is all fine, but most of them did not even read/follow the template. "Hi i want mod, Bye" applications. Anyhow this is only a suggestion, and with time you gain experience (Regarding your last line).

    I'm quite surprised from such replies. When did i ever state that a person with experience on forums will make a good application? Simply putting words in my mouth. Anyhow please have this thread locked.
