I was ignorant, few weeks ago me and my friend built a minecraft server for our Computer Technology 30 class. We were hooked on playing it during class. We got to the point where we wanted to play on a server. We played some gta and some prison servers. We wanted to play skyblock next. I remembered this server from a while ago. We got on and we realized that all our old bases was on the classic server. So we started new, making a new base and we wanted it to be the best. Everyone had shops and we wanted to sell things of our own. We got to farming. So over the next few weeks we started farming and selling cheap at our island. Soon we wanted a new base so then I destroyed the farm and started to build a new one. That was yesterday and that is where I left off. I now know what I did wrong and I learned from my mistake.

If I get unbanned early I will stop farming once and for all. I will give my farming supplies to the mod who is online. I forever destroy my farm.

Once I started playing this server I got hooked, I love this server and I vote every day. I help this community a lot, If you need someone to talk to ask 321LukeSpy and Spirocrazy. They were asking for help and I helped them. I gave up some stuff to help them get started. I also gave them advice.

 

Im sorry, I thought that 'island farming' was farming on your island. I come to figure out that it means someone making new islands and harvesting. I'm sorry. I got all that dirt by Island trading. I remember seeing that island trading is legal and it has to have under a certain amount of dirt. My friend was the one who sold me those islands for grass. Once he sold one he made another to sell to me. It was my mistake, I didn't read the island trading rules. I thought if i traded for it. it was legal

I would like to thank you for your honesty right from the start of the appeal, and willingness to cooperate, even though you were not aware you were doing anything illegal at the time. I appreciate that you took the time to look through the rules in order to understand what island farming really was, and I apologize for any confusion. As you have been very honest in your appeal, and willing to cooperate, I will give you another chance under the condition that you to read through the full list of rules, found here, and restate each rule in your own words to ensure that you understand it. Feel free to ask any questions if you find any part of it difficult to understand, or would like more clarification.

I would also like to clarify what island farming actually is, and explain why it was made illegal to clear up any confusion you may have. Island farming is the process of recreating your island multiple times, for the sole purpose of gaining extra materials, especially dirt, sand, and buckets. Doing this gives the player an unfair advantage, as they have been given the opportunity to obtain hundreds, sometimes thousands, of items almost effortlessly. This is also why dirt, sand, and buckets are illegal to trade, as allowing players to do this would allow people who intentionally island farm to easily get rid of the materials, flooding the economy with illegally obtained items.

I would like to stress that island farming, is not the same is island trading. This is perfectly legal, as long as islands are not being traded only to island farm. Some players enjoy building various structures on alternate accounts, in order to sell to other players for profit. I apologize for any confusion, and would like to ensure that you understand buying islands is perfectly fine, as long as it is not bought specifically to gain illegal items. There are only a few restrictions, when buying the islands of other players:

• This should not be used as a method to island farm.
• The island may not have more than 77 dirt and 3 sand on it, as this is what a typical starter island begins with.
• It may not have any other items that are either illegal to trade, or were illegally obtained, aside from the original 77 dirt and 3 sand.
• Once you have purchased an island from someone else, it now belongs to you. You are free to either resell it, as long as it still follows the aforementioned guidelines, or keep it for however long you wish.

Player Disrespect- Everyone on the server must be treated equally despite Race, Rank, or gender. Picking on one person or a group of people are not allowed. Anything from name-calling to threats will not be tolerated.
Chat Related Offences- Spam, flaming, swearing, and filter bypassing are all chat related offences. Saying it was taken out of context is not a good excuse because when investigated it will always be in context. You will be punished depending on the offense.
/Nick Abuse- Never take the nickname of someone who used it first. Never use it to trick people you are someone else. You are only allowed of you have proof that they gave you permission.
Extreme Chat Related Offences- racism, homophobia, sexism, discrimination or death threats are Extreme Chat Related Offences. There is never an excuse for that language and everyone must be treated fairly. Saying it was taken out of context is not a good excuse because when investigated it will always be in context.
Advertising and Inappropriate Links- Advertising other sites and telling people to click on Inappropriate Links are never allowed. The only exceptions are Twitch, Youtube, Crew’s/Cyp's other servers, or other channels.
Posting Malicious Links- Never post a link that can harm other players in the server. You will be banned if you ever post links to porn, phishing links, links that download keyloggers, screamers, or IP grabbers.
DDoS or Account Hacking Threats- Never threaten to hack someone else's account. DDoS any Skyblock members or services will be punished.
Releasing Private Information and Doxing- Never release or obtain the private information of any user who plays on skyblocks. This includes IP addresses, addresses, phone numbers, names, pictures or Skype usernames. Everyone online has the right to keep their privacy safe and private.
Ban/Mute Evading- When you are given a punishment, you have to accept it like everyone else. Never ban/mute evade or try to get around a ban given to you.
Scamming- Scamming any user of Skyblock out of their items, rank, or money will not be tolerated. The server will not be held responsible for any lost item
Griefing- Griefing is illegal. However, If it is case between co-ops or trusted you have to sort it out yourselves.
Island Farming- Island farming is when you make new islands to take the resources for your gain. You are considered cheating when you do it and you will be punished accordingly
Inappropriate Names and Skins- inappropriate skins or usernames will not be tolerated. That includes /nick.
