The Epic Template/Format Library

This is a place where you can get the template for what you need. It contains all the templates/formats for things from Mod Applications to Amnesty.

Some of the formats are weirdly disappearing, here is the place where you can get the format for any of the threads that may be needed to know.

1. Ban Appeals:
This format is needed a lot, and is sometimes not followed. The format is not hard, only 8 questions.

5. Why do YOU think you were banned?
6. Was this an incorrect ban?
7. Were you ever banned before on SkyBlock? If so, what for?
8. Why do you think you should be unbanned?

If you do not follow this format within 3 days of the thread creation, your appeal will be automatically denied! I can't stretch that enough.
Example Format:

1. Server name (.net / .org ): .org
2. In-game name: 1234NotARealPerson
3. Full exact Ban Message: Banned: Rail Duplicating Appeal at Skyblock.net ~Steal
4. Did you read the rules ? Yes
5. Why do YOU think you were banned? Duplicating Railes using a bug
6. Was this an incorrect ban? No
7. Were you ever banned before on SkyBlock? If so, what for? I have been banned by AmazingGraceGirl for advertising.
8. Why do you think you should be unbanned? [This section is on your own! You can't just copy this]

2. Reports:
A change in the formatting of the threads made the reports format disappear, so here it is IF IT IS NOT FOR GRIEFING REASON:

1. Your ingame name:

3. A description of what rule they broke/how they broke it:
4. Evidence/screenshots.

Example Format:

1. Your ingame name: RandomNoob1234
2. The offender's ingame name: RandomPerson1234
3. A description of what rule they broke/how they broke it: Spamming the heck out of me
4. Evidence/screenshots. None

If you are griefed (hard to do, not really possible to accidently do), used this format:

1. What is your in-game name?
2. What are the coordinates of your island?
3. Is it YOUR original island?
4. Who is a friend, or is/was in Coop?
5. Describe what was done, exactly what was looted, etc.
6. Post some screenshots.

This format is not too required to be filled out, but giving your coordinates is REQUIRED, so the mods can log the area for the griefer. Be careful, it could of been someone who is in your Coop, so maybe it was a friend who was trolling.

Example Format:

1. 1. What is your in-game name? RandomPerson1234
   2. What are the coordinates of your island? 1337, 209, 9001
   3. Is it YOUR original island? Yes
   4. Who is a friend, or is/was in Coop? My friend RandomPerson12345678
   5. Describe what was done, exactly what was looted, etc. One spawner, ten gold blocks, and a DC of cobblestone.
   6. Post some screenshots. None

3. Mod Applications:
Lots of people apply, but few people get the EPIC chance of being a mod. Being a mod is stressful based on what I hear. You can spend hours on this, but it is worth it if you do it right. I will not provide an example, it is up to you.

Your in-game name:
Which timezone are you in?
Which languages do you speak?
Have you ever been banned? (if yes, why?)
Why do you think you should be a mod?
How long can you be active on the server every day?
Do you have any past experience as a moderator?

4. Developer Application:
Being a developer is hard and it is OVAR 9000% harder to become a developer rather than a mod. Only a few (maybe 2) have ever been accepted. As of the date of creation of this post, we have no developer, and they have no sign of needing one. There is also no archives. Anyway, here is the format, it is the longest, so make sure you can follow:

General questions:

1. Do you participate in any computing-related projects (not limited to programming or Minecraft)?
2. If so, are you able to provide more information (eg. URLs)?
3. Would you be able to IM over Skype?
4. Is there anything else you would like us to know (perhaps a bit about you)?

Plugin Developer Questions (if specified as plugin dev above):

1. Have you ever used Git, Maven, or both?
2. If you are contacted, would you able to answer a Java/Bukkit related problem?

Web Developer/Maintainer Questions (if specified as web dev above):

1. Are you familiar with forum software (XenForo, IPBoard, etc.)?
2. Have you ever had access to the backend of a forum? If so, a link would be useful.

Remember, detail is KEY to getting accepted. Good luck if you attempt this.

5. Amnesty
This is a weird name at first, but it is basically saying sorry for something you did and the mods do not know about it. It is done BEFORE a ban, it is not appealing if you are banned.

2. In-game name: NotARealPeron1234
3. Are you now or have you ever been Banned at Skyblock (explain)? Yes, for illegal trade
4. Did you read the rules & in-game /warp FAQ? Yes
5. What exactly did you do? (Rules broken, dates, coords, in-game accomplices) ? I dropped a bucket at /warp spawn
6. Why do YOU think you deserve Amnesty ? [Do this section on your own]
