    Hey,
I just downloaded a new texture pack, and after I downloaded it, I went to have dinner.

When I came back, I tried logging into MineCraft but I never got past the "Mojang" Screen. And then, my MC crashes. Does anyone know how to fix this problem?
    <Yes I have re-downloaded MineCraft (3 times) but it still doesn't work)
<EDIT:> I have tried logging in on another computer and it DOES NOT get stuck on the mojang page.
    (screenshots of the screen)

[here is pretty much what happens] I downloaded the texture pack and opened mine craft and it opened. I then went to resource packs and made it my texture pack (for in game) then, serious lag, so I exited minecraft.
Ever since, every time I try to open minecraft, it gets stuck on the Minangkabau page and comes up with the second screenshot) I have felted the texture pack and re-installed MineCraft many times, but it still doesn't work.

With sphax, the resolution is HD
    1. Try giving you're MC more ram
    2. Get optifine and MC patcher
    3. If it doesnt work, re download MC and the texturepack

First up, you need to undo the texture pack, you can delete it from the same folder that you downloaded it to, this will force the precious working texture pack.

Also try to download a lower resolution version of the texture pack, or allocating more RAM as above.

Then you might have to redownload minecraft. Delete the entire .minecraft folder and re run the minecraft.exe file

Normally that fixes the issue since minecraft stores everything there. Is it possible that you downloaded the texture pack from a dodgy site and that you may have a virus etc?

You need to delete all traces of mc files from the applications folder. The only thing you should have left thats minecraft is the launcher.

In the application folder you should see a .minecraft folder, you can either delete it move it somewhere else, for example if you want to keep the saved single player worlds.

btw these were the steps I did

    Mac OS X
    1. Open a Finder window
    2. Click the Go Menu item and Click Go to Folder
    3. Type ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft into the text field and click Go
    4. Drag the saves folder to your desktop
    5. Drag everything else in the minecraft folder to the trash
    6. Drag the saves folder back into the minecraft folder
    7. Close the Finder window and launch the Minecraft App just like you would normally.
