Suggestion: Donor Wall :), rank suggestions, And More!

I think that there should be a donor wall. I know I have one on my server. It will show how nice people are and can be recognized for something. It would be kind of cool. There can be like
Donor 10: bla bla bla
Donor 25: bla bla bla
Donor 50: Bla Bla Bla
Donor 100: BLA BLA BLA

And also I think crew should get a rank name. It could be like [Owner]: Noobcrew. Every time someone says something to crew, all I hear is Who's Noobcrew? Who's Noobcrew? Who's Noobcrew? It would be easier to tell who he is.

There should also be a news wall that is updated every so often. It should be at the Newspawn. It would be easier to find out whats happening with the server. I hope you like the suggestions !

We've talked about this before, but there are just far too many donors to have an entire wall for them.

If anything, there may be something here on the forums for it.

I disagree. With multiple things on this suggestion. Noobcrew is the owner of a very popular server. I've been an owner of a server with 200+ people, and until you're put in that situation you won't know what it's like to be in a position like that. As the owner I'm guessing he gets 1-5 messages each 20 seconds. It's annoying when you get on and all you want to do is accomplish a small tedious task and you get millions of pms. It gave me a headache. Although he deserves the recognition it isn't always welcomed. Have you ever seen him get on and say anything in chat? Probably because he's trying to avoid the spam and make people think he's afk. I believe in the rank structure. "Problems roll up hill until they're fixed". Start with a moderator if you have a problem, then an administrator, then if it is really necessary, the owner. Also, a donation board would be a luxury to those who donated and an annoyance on moderators. It would add another task that moderators would have to do. I don't believe that moderators are slaves to the server. Although they are there to help, it doesn't mean they are forced to and creating more work for them is just unfair.

MOD SOMEBODY B SPAWNING ZOMBLES!
etc…

 

agreed, mods and admins also view the commands and msgs that the players send, and that almost quadruples the normal chat. In my time as mod in another server, There were so many pms going around that I could hardly read the normal chat. Now imagine being the owner, you have to multiply the #of pms going by 2 because half of the total pms are going to you to fix this and that.

There will not be anything like this, nor a donor group in the forums.
