Suggest getting new mods...

This is just a suggestion, so none of you guys have to take this to hard.
But I live in GMT+8, and right now there is only 1 mod online. And there are people breaking the rules, but this mod is doing NOTHING at all. I have already asked him to see if he can ban the person, but the person is just playing around and not doing anything staff like.
I was wondering if there were actually any staff that cared about the server right now? Because I joined like 2 weeks ago and the server is fun, but with all these rule breakers, the server is just being ruined.

 

Well... for one, its the holidays for near all the staff. Everyone is out spending time with family/other things. Also, I do admit, often times there aren't enough moderators on. This is why we actively search for suitable moderators to promote.

 

I'm not sure how your gonna fix this, but please fix it. I kind of get irritated when people advertise on the server and break the rules(I used to run a server, so even if it's not my server, I get bothered by them). So yeah.

Pupy not to be Eide or anything, but if I remebered correctlt in your mod app isnt there 11 different mod apps. Try to Get more expirience before you post number 12. Or do like me, post ONE mod app and leave it to that SINGLE mod app.

 

Yeah. All the people who HAVE 1 mod app are probably going to most likely get mod instead of the people who have 11 apps.

If you see a staff member that isn't doing much to help, let them know by specifically telling them what the problem is that is going on. Sometimes they might not be able to follow the context of the chat, and some issues might slip by them without notice. Often times, I log in to find myself in the middle of a confrontation, but I can't really do much because I didn't see the whole thing.

Basically, don't just tell a mod to ban someone and expect them to go along with it. Explain the whole context and then it will be easier for them to figure out what's wrong.

Also, I happen to go AFK a lot, because I am on for long periods of time and I need a break. I also do a lot of covert work, in private messages, so people don't notice me. I do that so people who want to break rules get comfortable without a mod in chat, and then they let out whatever crap they do, which in that case I can catch them in the act.

And I haven't really seen too many staff nowadays that do nothing when they are on. Usually they are working on a case, or talking to another staff member about something important. And never use Kev as an example for us. Just don't.

The biggest thing you can do to help is take screenshots and make reports here on the forums. We actively check the reports section to make sure we can attending to all of them. If you see someone advertising or breaking other rules, make a report.

 

To add on to what SLG and Nuny stated, when we are in game, there are many people to attend to. We try our best to help everyone. It is fairly difficult to do so due to the amount of people on the server as well as the amount of people who break rules. If we do not answer you it is not because we are ignoring you, it is because we are trying to help someone with something. Spamming us on top of that won't get your case looked at any quicker because we would be trying to talk to someone via pm and you are interrupting our conversation. That will cause us to take a longer time in assisting the person.

So to answer your question, we do not really need new staff members. You just caught us at a bad time. For example me, I have been busy in the beginning of december due to finals. Now, I am busy taking care of many things around the house that I was unable to do so during the semester. I try to get on whenever I can though.

And to add to the first statement I made, I want you to also realize that we are not machines. We also want to be able to have fun. We want to take breaks every so often and not assist with things. We are players too

Lol, what I was saying was just a suggestion, because when I'm on there are probably no mods on or only 1 mod on. Or maybe the mod is using vanish, don't know. I've been trying my best on using screen shots and everything to report. But just hope you guys can find a solution for this.

 

I think we have like 3 active mods that are either European or Australian.
It's not easy to find them, since our primary demographic is from America.
