i've noticed a lot that people have been starting drama on eco and are making others flee to /skyblock because it's just too much. i think we could maybe have a mod or something on eco for a bit to just monitor. i've also noticed that its caused by 1 or two people and a few others get involved. if we could fix or reduce this that'd be great
Its not that there is a lack of staff on Eco. Its that there is a lack of players who report it. Its not them. Its us. No one reports anything. Staff arent on 24/7 because they have a life. This isnt their job. If they are online they are also playing the game. They wont know if something is happening unless it gets reported.
that's true, but when people do report they get called a snitch and get berated for it, i think this is what they are scared of.
This is also true. Staff tend to talk and tell people who reported them. I have experienced that myself. I usually get told if someone reports me. Thats something someone high up on the staff team has to address. If you report something it shouldnt get worse for you. Its the staffs fault that players are scared to report.
Some of the staff members haven't been online in well over 100/200+ days... part of being staff, is that you actually have time to do staffing in game. Not just have the title and be inactive half the time. The reason there's multiple staff, is so that there should be a staff member available at any time when needed. Saying noone reports stuff is partly because staff aren't online at the time to be able to. Whilst sadly this isn't anything new, I agree. Survival is becoming a much more relaxed server compared to one where people are selfish and too often only think about themselves. Economy has lacked consistent moderation and everything mods stop maining on eco is when the drama kicks back in again. Other aspects such as the auctionhouse should also be moderated regularly, checking for listing that aren't fair such as items of no value being listed for multimillions and so on. Unfortunately people love jumping to conclusions and lashing out at those who just want a fun environment to play with friends.
Some staff do work behind the scenes like 52 and Bossy. RedstoneTrails is a pseudo dev, not sure if he actually does any developing but he has the dev rank. Doesnt show on /staff but on tab it does. Cyk has been inactive for a year which is true. As Kerahna has said in the past there is no reason to demote them as they havent done anything to deserve it. Things can be reported in the mod-help section on discord, reports here on the forums. If there is a staff member online you can /msg them. Plenty of ways to report. People just dont. Just because staff arent online doesnt mean you cant report it. As long as you provide sufficient evidence it can be handled swiftly and without issue.
yes i believe we should toughen up a bit, declare independence from the staff-empire and draft the eco-constitution declaring free speech as an absolute right!! GOD BLESS!

Well maybe I'm the only one that enjoys having a calm and fun server to play on where people aren't being greedy and rip each other off all the time then wonder why drama kicks off. There's a reason eco players have started to main on survival.. But sadly it seems like the players that don't agree with this thread are the players that start the drama to begin with. i appreciate that they seem to have seen this thread and are getting staff on eco more, i'm not sure if this is because of the thread or reports, but i'm happy either way
