So, after taking my first real day on the job here with the amazing community of Skyblock, I decided to invite a few of the people I've gotten familiar with on Skyblock with recently, over to my island for a chat and some fireworks. This quickly escalated to a full-scale gathering of most of the people I've associated myself with during these past 48 hours, and I gave them a free pass at spicing up my island however they saw fit, with complete individual creative freedom. A hilarious few hours ensued for everyone involved, and I could not be more satisfied with the result. It may not be correct or even pretty in any designer's eyes, but it has a personal touch, and it's a night I'll cherish forever. Thus, in case I ever decide to venture on to a new island, I feel that these memories should never be lost. Below is a small photo gallery of some of the highlights of the night, for me to use as memorabilia, for the participants to look and laugh at, and hopefully for the rest of you to enjoy just as much. If anything, this perfectly showcases and encompasses that familiarity within the community, and the open friendly attitude displayed towards one another. Once again, thank you so much to everyone involved for this blast of a night! The island in its final, beautiful shape, after having been subjected to the greater powers of the Skyblock community. The same island from a different perspective. The spontaneous wall of fame. Signed by all the best, from 1746 (who by the way felt that one sign was not enough), to Flower Queen Kirakitty, and Veggie himself, whose carrot monument was apparently not enough tribute to himself. KiraKitty, the flower queen herself, decided to leave me these beautiful bushes of flowers on top of my cobble generator. Just in case the thought of lava and ashes becomes too depressing. A better view of all the signatures I was lucky enough to be blessed with. Every single one of these people were not only on my island at some point during that night, but they also participated in both the atmosphere and the creative work that helped shape the magic. 1746 decided to build me a bathroom. One very vital necessity, when you're living on an island that floats in an endless void, we both agreed. Mooshroom took "come visit my island" to an entirely new level, as he apparently considered it an open invitation to stay indefinitely. Welcome to your new home, Mooshroom. Georges2002 was the first person to ever leave his signature on my wall. Number two was my one, my only, my (self-proclaimed) "besto4lyf", Coco herself, whose deeply inspiring words were "Shake 'em & bake 'em!" Neither 1746, nor Mooshroom were clearly done making signs just yet. I still have yet to figure out who wrote these two signs. The smiley in the last one has me suspecting either Veggie or MooshroomDoom of the deed, but I am unable to determine exactly who committed this heinous crime. Why heinous, you ask? Well, I checked. It's not true. Veggie's final work of art was this monument, reading "The essence of Veggie". It is a tree-height carrot, dedicated to himself, following a brief conversation on Skype where he proclaimed himself "that special carrot". There are many more things to show you, like KiraKitty's "mansion", or the abundance of mooshrooms and sheep that suddenly flooded my island, not to mention the squids that still float around in my pond, but you'd be bored to death before we'd even get half-way through summing up the night. Once again, thank you so much everyone for being a part of this lovely night, and an even bigger thank you to the entire Skyblock community for welcoming me with such open arms. I am sure we're in for a joyride together! Over & out.
Holy crap, it sure didn't take long for you to become a mod. Back on-topic, I'm sure this was an extremely fun gathering and would have loved to have been part of it.
The disc set (All 12) I gave you was there. And let me know if you want me to give you a few stacks of stone, my Stone generator is pretty efficient.
