Spawner for new Island

i'm not quite sure if this is the right place for this topic/thread so please notify me if I posted this in the wrong section.

I had a question about the spawner you get from the $25 donation. If I decide to restart/reset my island,
Do I lose the spawner or do I get a new one back when I started a new one? because I was thinking to restart a new island soon but I don't feel like losing my spawner..

You can pick it up with silk touch.

 

Are you sure about it? any specific tool I need to have to remove it?

I also tried it out with silk touch on my own private server but it didn't work.
is this server build for it to work?

So that will stay in my inventory if i use the new island command?
if I use the leave coop command will the spawner be removed? since I play with a friend on one island but
he wanted to stay at this one.

Inventories are reset when you start a new island or leave your coop, so you will have to have someone you trust hold onto your spawner until you have reset, or store it in an enderchest temporarily.
Like Salamander said, you can pick up your spawner with any pickaxe that has silk touch. One of this server's plugins enables silk touch on spawner blocks.
