Someone unbanned without appeal?

Let me explain:

I had an old coop member who went by the name "bullet3299". Something happened and he got mad, basically leaving the island. One day, he came back and had a griefing party on my island (I am coop leader) and I had to get my island rolled back.

Anywho, apparently he has been on, telling my coop members things like "That is my island" and "Josh is a *******". As of now, I have one photo and the name was cut off... :grum:

BUT: I have used the command /seen bullet3299 and it says he's been offline about 2-3 hours. Funny, cause when I checked the ban appeals, there was none for him? I have the screenshot of my /seen command and another of what he "supposedly" said. I am skeptical myself, but being that hs isn't banned anymore does make me a little worried and confuzzled...

Someone care to explain an answer? :confused:

The ban list is sometimes reset. This does not happen often from what I understand.

 

As Vikki said, the ban list was reset not long ago, when the server updated to 1.8. That may be how you have been seeing a lot of people who were previously banned online.

 

Is there a way to get him re-banned? There's a couple of my coop members that have been offended and/or bugged by him via PM. I can try to get them on here if that needs to be done, I doubt it though as they are younger. Like I said, there is one pic with a message from him, yet his name was cut off. There were others though, as far as pictoral evidence, I'll have to ask my other coop members if they have more...

 

Well, that makes a whole lot of sense to me.

 

I wouldn't egg him on, but if he disrespects you definitely screenshot it and report it to a moderator. There is also /ignore.

 

He's not on your island right? Just use /ignore then. Best thing ever added on .net
