    Why don't smods get /v? It can be useful in many ways.
    Example 1: In /v, watching trade, secretly, so if there is a scammer, they don't know they're being watched. It can help catch more scammers.
    Example 2: If they get spammed in /msg, they can just do /v and nobody can message them. Possibly with an exception of mods.

    Because there is a fear we would use /v to become lazy and not do our jobs, possibly abuse it and there was not a very urgent reason to have it. When vanish was restricted it was pointless because all donors could see us. I don't think it's coming back any time soon

    I don't think if it were added that mods should use it for this reason. I only find it necessary for situations like you stated in example 1. Support though.

    It was a special permission given to her for a certain reason. She was not a staff, only a player so she didnt have any responsibility on the server.

    Staff should be allowed to have the option to choose who can see them. From regular players to Skygods. Can be used to also see suspicious activity while not being noticed. Gives fear to scammers and illegal traders. Support

    You're doing your "Job" in an honorary capacity. That fact Shows already beforehand that you are not lazy, and noone can fault you for needing a brake sometime. For this very last purpose, there is the button "disconnect".

    Maybe there wasn't an urgent reason to have it, but seen how scamming became an issue, I think we have the reason, and this command would, in contrary, totally enable you to do your Job. Also, the sole existance of this command and the knowledge of its existance spread throughout the community would have a major deterrent potential. Potential scammers / Spammers etc... couldn't be sure if a mod is online and would more incline to respect the rules.

    Just my 2 cents

    Nah, some old mods have had it in the past, akrill for example
    Autumn/geek was given it temporarily but cyp forgot to remove it for a couple days
    All in all its a nifty thing, but makes contacting someone a bit hard. Not the best for watching trades tbh, the amount of trades that could potentially happen at one time and then the mod noticing the trade and going there while others may be asking for help?
